Box Office: The Blind Side Tackles New Moon
Looks like New Moon should have kept an eye on its blind side! The surprise hit has been nipping at the Twilight sequel's heels since they were both released two weeks ago, but this is the first weekend that the football drama actually took the top spot at the box office. The Blind Side earned $20.4 million, while New Moon pulled in $15.7 million.

A remake of a Danish film, Brothers seems like potential Oscar bait — talented actors in a timely story of post-traumatic stress disorder for American soldiers. It has the most honorable of intentions to show the emotional toll that these men and women endure, but Brothers gets overwhelmed by the task and tries too hard.

In the movie Brothers (out today) Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal play two brothers in an intense battle for the love of Natalie Portman's character. After Tobey's character goes missing in action in Afghanistan, his wife, played by Natalie Portman, gets very close to her brother-in-law, played by Jake. As you can imagine, things get pretty complicated when Tobey's character returns home unexpectedly.

Natalie Portman in brilliant blue stole the spotlight last night at a screening of Brothers in NYC. One of her two leading men, Tobey Maguire, joined her on the red carpet along with his wife Jennifer Meyer, though Jake Gyllenhaal missed the event. Amanda Peet was right by her husband David Benioff's side, supporting his latest screenwriting effort.

The trailer for new movie Brothers has just made it's debut, featuring Natalie Portman, Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal. Since watching the clip it's become one of my most anticipated upcoming releases. The movie is the story of a man who comforts his older brother's wife and children after he goes missing in Afghanistan.
