I'm kind of digging the beeswax shade of the Camera Candle by Urban Case ($39.50), but it seems like a steep price to pay for a novelty item. Your thoughts?

It's hard to know who to trust with your child so some parents turn to in home surveillance devices to keep a watchful eye on their caregiver. A friend of a staffer here at Sugar HQ decided to invest in one to ease her concerns about her nanny, despite the woman's great references and clean record. Thankfully, she did.

I know I'm all about the digital, baby, but there's something about 35mm film that keeps me coming back for more. Take this Golden Half Camera ($55) that shoots two old-school images within one frame of film. I'm excited about this because it means you have not one, but two opportunities to capture something fantastic in each frame.

I've been drooling over the latest Canon DSLR to hit the market (even though I just threw down for the T1i last year), so of course while I'm dreaming of the new model, I'm also on the hunt for a camera bag that is worthy of its style, beauty, and power. The Alexander Wang Brenda Camera Bag ($425) may just do the trick.
The cross-body style will keep my camera safe, while the luxurious leather and silver chain accents will keep me in fashion no matter what the season.

Buckling up can save your life, so why not use the same device to carry around your precious camera? Made from real car safety belts from wreckage yard vehicles, these repurposed Seat Belt Camera Straps ($20) are a very eco-friendly way to tote your DSLR, Lomo, or whatever kind of camera you have in your photographic arsenal.
I love, love, love the blue strap and am thinking of getting one myself.

After the first round of camera head-to-head, I couldn't decide if I preferred my iPhone or his Droid, although the Droid's camera is technically superior. We decided to put our respective cameras to the test for a second round of battle royale during a dinner out. Side note: I know I said previously that phones at the table is a no-no, but this was in the name of research!

I know the Diana Dreamer Camera had a lot of fans when I posted it, both for its romantic results and its vintage styling, and now Urban Outfitters has introduced a custom-fit case for it, the Diana Case ($38). It's totally hot (built-in tripod hole!) and totally leather.
I've been looking for cases that conform to camera lenses since I saw Sienna Miller rocking one a few months ago, and the Diana Leather Case is my hippie-chic answer!

As much as I love playing photographer at a good soiree, I feel like I end up missing some good moments with a camera in front of my face. So imagine my curiosity when I learned about the Sony Party-shot camera dock. It literally takes the photos for you.

For my first Droid vs. iPhone post, I tested out the GPS functions on both handsets, and eventually conceded that I preferred the Droid's built-in GPS capabilities. Next up, the phones' built-in cameras.
