Only the strong have survived our Pop 100 competition so far, and the matchups are only getting tougher as time goes on. Songbirds Beyonce and Carrie Underwood are head to head in round three, and Beyonce is in a lead though it's a tough call between the beautiful starlets. Beyonce had a big year that included her double album and recently scored a box office hit with Obsessed while Carrie Underwood continued to burn up the country music charts and won a Grammy.

Last night's Country Music Television Awards were more about glamor than sequins, but there was certainly still a lot of glitz and fun in the Nashville night. Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus hosted the evening which included a lot of costume changes for the starlet. Adorable little Taylor Swift took home Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year, while Kellie Pickler (really!?

AMA winner Fergie opened the show last night with a medley of her latest and greatest hits. It was a strong start for a show that definitely included some memorable performances including glow in the dark dancer, Chris Brown and Rihanna who looked way better on stage than on the red carpet. Beyonce dressed down when she joined Sugarland for a duet of her hit Irreplaceable.
