Star-Studded Celebrity Roster Supports Idol Gives Back

Idol Gives Back brought out quite the crowd from all different areas of the entertainment industry for the taping in Hollywood last night. Reese and Brad shared their pretty faces with the audience, while Mariah and Miley were among the musical performers of the night. Teri showed off her pipes (even though most of you wish she wouldn't) and Fergie took the stage to do a song with Heart. As for the theme of the night, Carrie Underwood summed it up nicely, saying, "It's not about self-promoting. It's not about singing your latest single. It's not about trying to be the most-downloaded whatever on iTunes. It's all about getting people to call in and do something." The charitable special airs this Wednesday, and we can't wait to check out the wonderful edition of one of our favorite shows.

Gwen Stefani & Her Little Lamb Show Off L.A.M.B.

Bryant Park got a little more fabulous yesterday evening when Gwen showed off her new line for L.A.M.B. at NY Fashion Week. Of course, her men were front and center with little Kingston showing off some of his mom's designs (and some adorable True Religion jeans). Check back later today for Fab's full review and pics from the runway, but until then hear about all her and Bella's fun on Elle.com! Among the other guests were bumblebee Carrie Underwood, high waisted Sophia Bush and Eve (out to support her friend and Let Me Blow Your Mind duet-mate, that song was awesome, btw). Also, how funny is Diddy right next to Kingston? Fab says Gavin was dancing with Kingston, which is pretty much cutest ever.

Musicians Make Merry After the Grammys

It may have been a looong Grammy Awards, but it was only more reason to keep the party going after the show ended. The stars got to mix and mingle with their fellow musicians at the Sony BMG Party, making for some predictable (and a few unlikely) pairings. Nicole and Joel were looking a little worn out, while Beyonce was practically glowing in yellow next to John Mayer, making her fourth outfit change of the night. Which B outfit was your favorite? Also, is it just us, or did John look a little too pretty-boy last night? Carrie Underwood naturally gravitated toward country star Brad Paisley, while Jay-Z looked absolutely thrilled to be posing with Chris Daughtry. We just wish we could eavesdrop on a few of their conversations, although something tell us that Amy Winehouse's performance was a hot topic across the board.

Carrie Underwood Shines at CMTs

Last night the stars of the country music world were honored by their fans at the CMT Awards in Nashville. AI contestants Kellie Pickler and Bucky Covington were there and we are really NOT digging Kellie's new look. The always adorable Carrie Underwood glowed in orange and scored 3 awards for her song "Before He Cheats." Carrie has obviously come a long way since winning American Idol 2 years ago, saying "It was at the CMT awards last year that I gave my first acceptance speech ever. It's been such an amazing and blessed two years." Carrie was also one of the many performers of the night, along with Bon Jovi, Martina McBride & Rascal Flatts. Patrick and Amy Enchant Hollywood

Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams walked the red carpet hand in hand at the premiere of their movie Enchanted in LA Saturday night. Helen Mirren went a little overboard with the metallic getup and pink shoes. Carrie Underwood looked adorable and was there to support the movie, which features one of her new songs. Taye Diggs and America Ferrera were there looking simple and stylish. In the movie, Amy Adams plays a typical Disney princess who gets a rude awakening when she finds herself in modern day NYC. The real world may be a little harsh for a cartoon princess, but something tells me that Patrick Dempsey is about as close as it gets to a real-life Prince Charming.

Fashion Rocked Hard Backstage, Too

It looks like backstage was the place where Fashion Rocks' hot performers met up with their spouses like Jennifer with Marc, Usher with Tameka, Mary with Kendu. Pregnant and gorgeous Nicole stayed off her feet while the rest of the lucky backstage pass holders mingled and mixed. That would definitely be a fun group to spend an evening with - though I think I would like to be a fly on the wall of the Tyra/Carrie Underwood conversation most of all (or really anything with Ty-Ty's crazy). Fashion Meets Rock, Creates Fire

The stars looked g-l-a-m on the red carpet, but it all got a little more rock 'n' roll when they hit the stage last night at the Fashion Rocks concert (remember the magazine supplement with J Lo on the cover?), part of NY Fashion Week. The annual event is thrown by Conde Nast and accompanied by an online charity auction. At the show, Jeremy Piven was MC to, as usual, some awesome on stage combinations - Fergie performed with both Ludacris and Aerosmith while Usher sang alongside Mary J. Blige and so many more. You guys were pretty split on your opinions of Jennifer Lopez's new video for Do It Well, but it looks like she killed it last night. Definitely the highlight judging from the pictures. Sexy Men and Sweethearts Sing Their Hearts Out

AMA winner Fergie opened the show last night with a medley of her latest and greatest hits. It was a strong start for a show that definitely included some memorable performances including glow in the dark dancer, Chris Brown and Rihanna who looked way better on stage than on the red carpet. Beyonce dressed down when she joined Sugarland for a duet of her hit Irreplaceable. Sexy Lenny (yes I have a huge thing for him) wore his usual all black as he sang a soon to be hit song from his new album. My favorite performance of the night was Alicia Keys (check out the video below). Not only was her voice killer but the songs she mixed together definitely got the crowd on their feet. She is a wonderful performer and even if I'm not used to seeing her do choreographed dance moves, she pulled it off. We have a feeling her album is going to knock Jay-Z off the top spot this week.

And the AMA Winners Are...

We saw Brit make a surprise appearance looking pretty at the AMAs last night, as well as some very cool performances. However the night was really about honoring the best in the business. The Black Eyed Peas scored big last night bringing home the most awards. They took the crown as best rap/hip-hop album, best rap/hip-hop group, and best soul/r&b group. The Red Hot Chili Peppers, the original AI winner Kelly Clarkson, Mary J Blige and Rascal Flatts all did really well too bringing home 2 awards each.

Jessica and John's Post Grammy Coming Out Party

Beyonce may have played host at the People party last night after the Grammys, but she didn't call it a night at that event. After her duties were over, she headed off to the Sony/BMG party to meet up with non-Grammy winners the Simpson Sisters, and Grammy winners the Dixie Chicks, John Legend and Carrie Underwood. (Someday Simpsons, someday.) The red carpet is all well and good, but the real excitement came inside the party in the form of a little photoshoot displaying a certain new couple (hint: it's Jessica and John Mayer...and they look amazing).

Right, so when John stumped the world (you know, other than those who speak Japanese, and btw, I'd like to know if he was saying everything correctly) on the red carpet, with his "you'll be the last to know" bit he actually meant "you'll all know in a couple of hours." Nice.
