Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to a baby girl, named Maddie Briann, in Mississippi this morning. Her fiancé Casey Aldridge was there with her along with her family including Britney, who arrived into town yesterday. The infant was born at about 9:30 a.m. Jamie Lynn and her daughter are both "healthy and happy." Congrats to the new family and welcome to a new Spears girl!

Jamie Lynn Spears and fiancé Casey Aldridge have decided to settle down in LA - Louisiana, that is! The young couple and soon-to-be parents have purchased a modest but charming home on one acre in Kentwood, LA, according to Real Estalker. The cape-esque home sits on very private, heavily wooded property and features a classic Southern covered front porch, a big red barn, and a separate shed. No word on the number of bedrooms or bathrooms or any details on the interior, but it looks to me like a quaint enough "starter home" for the trio.

While big sis Britney was splashing around in her bikini in Costa Rica this weekend, Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiancé Casey Aldridge were running errands in McComb, Mississippi. The couple did some shopping at Lowe's and Sears before going through a car wash and stopping at McDonald's. We all know those Spears girls love their fast food, and maybe the next time JL has a craving her big sister Britney will be back in town to help out with her niece's arrival.

From the earrings to the bangle to the shoes, JL was getting in the spirit of her upcoming baby girl with all the pink. Between her two baby showers and frequent shopping trips little Jamie Lynn has to be almost ready for her daughter to arrive - or as prepared as one could ever be, I suppose.

It was another weekend of celebrating for Jamie Lynn Spears as her due date inches closer. On Saturday she got all dressed up for baby shower No. 2 and on Sunday it was off to church with her fiancé and baby daddy Casey Aldridge. One thing's for sure, Mother's Day is about to become a whole lot more for this mom-to-be. While Britney and Lynne were back in LA for the important weekend, the pop star left her parenting advice with her little sister last weekend. Whether or not Jamie Lynn's little one is the celebrity baby you're most excited to see, the new Spears girl in our lives is just around the corner.

Jamie Lynn Spears has laid pretty incredibly low since announcing her teen pregnancy to the world back in December, but these days she's been stepping out more back home in Kentwood, LA. She's still not showing off that baby bump in any skin tight shirts, but, uh, I guess she's not grounded anymore? Maybe Lynne Spears gave her younger daughter some leniency after passing her GED. Jamie Lynn's a Single Momma to Be

It's pretty clear that Lynne Spears is not a mom we'd take advice from. As if Jamie Lynn's shocking pregnancy wasn't already sad enough, Life & Style is reporting that that she and the baby's father Casey Aldridge aren't even seeing each other anymore.

Apparently the couple has broken up a few times in the past, and they have no plans to get married. According to Jamie Lynn's interview in OK! Casey has been supportive even though they had not planned this and were both shocked by the news themselves.

Jamie Lynn also discussed her desires to learn the sex of the baby, morning sickness and her hopes for a healthy baby. To read more quotes just read more

Here are some highlights from CBB:

On the sex of the baby:
I want to find out as soon as I can because I'm impatient. I just want a healthy, happy baby, so the whether it's a boy or a girl really doesn't matter.

On names:
I haven't thought about baby names yet. I would have to hear some options!

On morning sickness:
I definitely had sickness, but it's getting better. It was at its worst a few weeks ago.

On believing she'll be a good mom:
I love babies, and I have my nephews that I love. I have a great mom and she has raised three kids, so if I take lessons from her, I think I'll be great. All my friends have little brothers or sisters.

On Casey as a father:
He has always been good with babies. He's like a big teddy bear, especially around babies, so I know he'll make a good dad.

Her hopes for 2008:
Just to have a healthy baby and a healthy pregnancy and for everything to fall in place and to become a stronger person from here.

Jamie Lynn Rushes to Casey's Bedside After His Accident

Jamie Lynn Spears had her 10-month-old daughter Maddie on her hip and her mom by her side as she walked through LAX on Friday. Unfortunately, on Sunday she had to rush to Mississippi to be with Maddie's father Casey Aldridge after a car accident early that morning. He suffered mild brain trauma but is stable, and the two other passengers who were thrown from the car when it flipped over weren't badly injured. Casey was charged with a misdemeanor for careless operation of a vehicle, though there is no suspicion that he'd been drinking. Sounds like a scary accident but thankfully everyone involved survived and Casey has Maddie and Jamie Lynn there to help him through his recovery.
