Katy Perry's been travelling all over the place lately, as she flew from Thailand to London with Russell Brand and then left his house at the weekend to jaunt over to Paris to attend some Fashion Week shows! She's certainly not the only celeb over there right now, as Mary-Kate Olsen, Janet Jackson, Rihanna, Leigh Lezark, Lily Cole and Catherine Deneuve were among the stars watching the shows. Stella McCartney's show was attended by her dad Sir Paul and her best mate Gwyneth Paltrow, while Lindsay Lohan showed off her first line as artistic advisor for Emanuel Ungaro — FabUK has all the photos of the collection!

Stella McCartney doesn't create a couture line but she decided to use the prestigious fashion week to open her new Paris store. She rounded up some classic fashion stars for the occasion including Jean Paul Gaultier catwalk star Ines de la Fressange. Stella's ever supportive Dad was also on hand to party at the opening along with sixties party girl Marianne Faithful.

Gwyneth Paltrow was in Paris last night for the premiere of her movie Two Lovers. Earlier this year she screened the film at Cannes, and once again her costar Joaquin Phoenix was a no-show. He appears to be sticking to his decision to give up acting, but their director James Gray was able to step in and walk the red carpet with Gwyneth.

French director Laetitia Colombani's next flick could have us pining for fashion in the way that Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette left us drooling for macaroons.
Mes Stars et moi or My Stars and Myself, starring Emmanuelle Béart (left), Catherine Deneuve and Mélanie Bernier, is about actresses who go from fashion shoots to premieres wearing the trendiest designer brands. Supposedly, Béart sports Dior couture; Deneuve goes all out in Yves Saint Laurent, Hermès, Prada, and Fendi; and Bernier dons Lanvin.

Get a load of these beauties from around the world. Famous actresses such as Debbie Matenopolous (Greek-American), Catherine Deneuve (French), Sophia Loren (Italian), Lucy Liu (Chinese-American) and Gisele Bundchen (Brazilian) all epitomize the beauty traits that each of these countries are known for.
Now, it's not like I've trotted the globe trying all of the latest and greatest beauty treatments (although that would be a dream come true) but I have had the opportunity to try out some of the great imports that have crossed oceans to get to the United States.

Bonjour, mes amies! Since today is Bastille Day—the French national holiday—I thought it would be appropriate to talk about how les femmes françaises look the way they do. Think about some contemporary French beauties—Catherine Deneuve, Audrey Tautou, Juliette Binoche, Noémie Lenoir—and I think you'll agree that they are belle indeed.

Over a career spanning decades, Deneuve has become the leading lady of French film.

Queen Madge isn't one to be off trend, and tonight was no exception. I love her pulled-back pouf — it reminds me of Catherine Deneuve's hair in The Umbrellas of Cherbourg. Unlike a lot of red carpet denizens, though, she kept her eyes sexy, with a classic Cleopatra line past the outer edges.

Vanity Fair's 2009 International Best-Dressed list has been released, and it includes actors, models, designers, politicians, royalty, and socialites. The ones who made the cut need not have one particular fashion forte — they only need perennial style. Representing Hollywood are red-carpet queens Penelope Cruz, Anne Hathaway, Reneé Zellweger, Kelly Ripa, and Alicia Keys.
