CBS Still Boring

The only shows I care about on CBS are How I Meet Your Mother, Amazing Race and Letterman. However, a lot of people like the CSI type shows so the network seems to be doing well enough to be making just a few changes in their fall schedule. The will introduce only 4 new show, 3 dramas and 1 comedy. The comedy has Jason Ritter and it's on after Mother so we'll be checking out that one for sure.

SHARK
A high powered, celebrity defense attorney in Los Angeles (James Woods) switches gears and becomes a prosecuting attorney for a squad of inexperienced lawyers at the District Attorneyâ€™s office. Jeri Ryan, Alexis Crus, Romy Rosemont, and Lynn Whitfield co-star.

SMITH
Told from the criminal point of view, a diverse group of criminals plan to carry out high-stake robberies across the country. The ensemble cast includes Ray Liotta, Virginia Madsen, Simon Baker (The Guardian), Chris Bauer, Frankie G., Michelle Hurd, Johnny Lee Miller, and Amy Smart.

THREE POUNDS (midseason)
An arrogant but talented brain surgeon (Stanley Tucci) has to cope with his demanding professional life and a deteriorating mind. Also starring Reiko Aylesworth, Mark Feuerstein, Armando Riesco, Tamara Taylor, Lorraine Toussaint (Any Day Now), and Indira Varma.

WATERFRONT (midseason)
The charismatic, but ethically challenged, mayor of Providence, Rhode Island (Joe â€œJoey Pantsâ€? Pantoliano) tries to distance himself from municipal corruption while maintaining policies that got him elected.

Lost Lovers

Lost is not on tonight in order to make room for the 2 hour Alias but we found some interesting tidbits in todays new about the show. First off, US Weekly is calling out a new couple alert. Ian Somerhalder and Maggie Grace have both been killed off the island and apparently seen dating in real life back in LA. US reports:

â€œThey stay out of the limelight,â€? a source tells Us, â€œbut they spend a lot of time hanging out and working out together at Goldâ€™s Gym [in Venice Beach, California.]â€? The pair will â€œkiss and hold hands when they come and go from the gym. You can tell theyâ€™re a couple.â€?

Cynthia Watros is already signing up for a new show even though she has yet to be killed off. Is this a major spoiler or just a back up plan since the series may not even get picked up.

E Online reports: Cynthia Watros, who plays Hurley's love interest Libby, has been cast in a CBS comedy pilot, calling into severe question her chances of making it out of Lost's second season alive. Watros has signed on to star opposite Love Monkey's Tom Cavanagh in the sitcom My Ex-Life, centering on a divorced couple turned best buds who are sharing custody of their children. The show is aiming for a slot on CBS' fall schedule, which will be announced next month.

I'm not a huge fan of her on the show anyway. To me she will be most remembered for her famous mug shot the night her and Michelle Rodriguez had too much fun.
