A lot of women have the mistaken belief that glamorous celebs roll out of bed looking like they do on the cover of InStyle. So they scrutinize every pore and wrinkle, get plastic surgery, or just hate their looks. This video is posted not to say, "Hey, look how fug they are" without makeup, but instead to say, "Hey, they look like the rest of us" without makeup artists and PhotoShop.

At the Avon Hope Honors Gala, all the celebrity Avon ladies (and the Avon man) were out, including Courteney Cox, Reese Witherspoon, Fergie, and Patrick Dempsey. Of course, no Avon lineup would be complete without Lauren Conrad, the spokeswoman for Mark. To complement her gray cocktail dress, Lauren opted for a 1940s glam makeup look, complete with glowing cheeks, winged-out liner, and warm red lips.

It's Summer and apparently celebrities, like the rest of us, want to take it easy — even at a big red carpet event. In the past few days alone, Molly Sims, Chuck's Yvonne Strahovski, model Bar Rafaeli, and actress Charlyne Yi have all gone with unstyled hair and barely-there makeup that looks a lot more normal-girl than Hollywood starlet. They're totally gorgeous, of course, but they're so low on drama that some of you think it's inappropriate for a premiere.

Dolce and Gabbana's makeup muse did some promoting at Selfridges department store in London earlier today. She usually plays up her sex-kitten persona, but here she opted for a ladylike look by Dolce and Gabbana. The pretty floral blouse is tempered by a long and lean pencil skirt and finished with a pair of nude peep-toe pumps.

Over the weekend, the most famous of the English music festivals Glastonbury took place. It was chock full of celebrities dressed in chic outdoorsy outfits and eccentric beauty looks. Bat For Lashes never disappoints with her artsy face-painted makeup, Pixie Geldof wrapped a scarf around her (perhaps dirty) hair, Jodie Harsh teased his (wig) coif to the hilt and Karen O wore wildly futuristic eye shadow, a look we saw not too long ago on Solange Knowles.

What's a celebration without gifts? Well, for the 100th anniversary of L'Oréal (it's been in the US for 55 years), the company is offering savings on star products. Its founder, French chemist Eugène Schueller, not only developed the first permanent hair color using an oxidation process, he built a beauty empire with goods now sold in over 150 countries.
