Celebrities can't escape the media spotlight or the constant criticism about their bodies. While most leading ladies can afford personal trainers and chefs, the most important thing they have — that most of us don't — is lots of time to get in celebrity shape.
Many of us can't really watch the Oscars without fantasizing a little about having Scarlett Johansson's curves or the long, lithe shape of Charlize Theron.

Weight issues don't make someone famous, but they frequently become center stage once celebrity status is official. Sure, the general public is overly concerned by struggles with the scale. But the celebrities who publicize their weight battles could be damaging the way the overweight public handles their own body issues.

It seemed to be the year of celebrity babies in 2008, so it makes sense that we've been hearing so much about the famous new moms' post pregnancy bodies these days. More often than not, it seems celeb mamas shed extra weight in the matter of a few months, which just isn't feasible for most women. It's refreshing to learn when moms take a slow and steady approach, like Spice Girl Emma Bunton.
