Heidi Klum's Got a Good Take on Her Post-Baby Bod

Thanks to a healthy attitude - and a little encouragement from hubby Seal - Heidi Klum is working to get her body back in shape after baby number four. Still, if you're expecting the supermodel to take a turn in the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, you might be surprised to learn that she won't be walking the runway this year, but playing hostess duty instead.

In an interview with US Weekly, it seems this mom is a little more realistic when it comes to shaping up her body after giving birth. Heidi told the magazine:

"I wouldn't say I'm back in the shape yet. But I don't know. Everything changes when you get older. It was different when I was 31 with the first one. Now, being 36 with the fourth one, it's different."

It seems to me the mom is setting a realistic expectation for getting back in shape and going about it the right way. She knows that it takes some work to get the bod you want, saying that, "For me, it always works to get back into it immediately. I think that if you wait too long, it kind of sticks on and it stays there forever. I have to be motivated." Still, she's not gym-crazed or diet-obsessed, adding that she's not exercising too much for now: "I walk on the treadmill a little bit. I walk on the driveway. I'm very active with the children." Sure, she's blessed with some supermodel genes (and possibly a very long driveway), but even still, Heidi's take on weight loss seems surprisingly down-to-earth to me - do you agree?

Simply leave a comment and you could win tickets to be part of the small audience at the show which will be held at London's Forum on the evening of Monday 7 December. The girls will perform their big hits as well as tracks from their new album, and the performance will be filmed for a special TV show! Please read the terms and conditions below carefully.

Terms & Conditions

1. The Impulse Promotion is open to UK residents aged 14 and over.
2. If you are between the ages of 14 and 16 you must have obtained your parents' or guardian's consent before entering.
3. Each entrant may only enter the Competition once. No entrant may win more than one Prize.

5. The tickets are not transferable, re-saleable or exchangeable. There is no cash alternative. The winner and attendee must be able to get to and from The Saturdays exclusive gig at the Forum in Kentish Town, London. If the winner or attendee is under the age of 18, a parent or guardian (over 21), must accompany them to, from and at the gig. To enter the gig, ticket holders must be at least 14 years old. The Promoter reserves the right to verify age of all ticket holders and refuse entry at the gig. The Promoter reserves the right to check that a parent or guardian (over 21) is present in a winners' group if one or more in the party is under 18. Anyone under the age of 18 who is attending the gig must have the permission of their parent(s) or guardian(s) to do so.
6. All winners will each be responsible for their own travel costs to attend The Saturdays gig and accommodation costs in London.
7. All entries will become the property of the Promoter. In consideration of the right to enter the Competition, each entrant automatically grants to the Promoter an irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, world-wide licence for the full period of copyright to use, reproduce, alter, adapt or sub-licence their entry in any media in perpetuity.
8. All prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prizes for alternatives of equal or greater value.
9. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or consequential damage of any nature in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise caused by acceptance of the terms and conditions or in connection with the prizes (except to the extent that death or any personal injury occurs as a result of the negligence of the Promoter).
10. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify or withdraw the prize of any entrant found to be tampering with the voting process for the Competition or to be acting in any manner deemed by the promoter to be in violation of the Terms and Conditions.
11. To claim their prize, winners must confirm their attendance and names of their friends attending. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these Impulse Promotion rules.
12. The winners' details (name and county) will be made available on request to those writing to "The Impulse Promotion, Mindshare UK Ltd, 40, Strand, London WC2N5RF" within ten weeks after the closing date, enclosing an SAE. Kidoodle: Easy Thanksgiving Centerpiece and a Little Stroll

A couple Thanksgivings ago, I celebrated with my neighbor's family and their two fantastic kids in Tahoe. The turkey was in the oven and I realized we didn't have a centerpiece for the table. I had found two empty large fish bowls/vases in the house. So their youngest and I went on a little walk with a paper bag in tow. On our short walk, we collected pine cones, pine needles, lichen, pieces of bark and just about anything else we could find. He used just about all of our found objects and made two perfect centerpieces.

How To Get a Celeb Bikini Body like Kate Moss and Kelly Brook

Time to ditch the sarong and stop hiding behind the cover-ups.

For a beach body, like Kelly Brook, Kate Moss or Cameron Diaz, just follow these results-orientated exercises, plus beauty treatments, for an A-list body you'll want to show off.

Legs like Kate Moss
The vibrating power plate is the ultimate leg toner and has also been shown to help prevent and reduce cellulite.

For legs like Kate (see pic below), hold onto the bars and squat – slowly pushing back your bum until your knees are at a 90 degree angle. Squeeze your bum cheeks and push back up. Aim for two sets of around 50 seconds, three or four times a week.

Next, stand one foot in front of the other, and lunge forward. This works the back of your thighs, as well as calves.

Arms like Beyonce
For toned upper arms, it's best to do free standing weights. Speak to your local gym or personal trainer to ensure you're using the right weight for your body type.

Want To Look Like Madonna, or at Least Have Skin Like Her?

Just like our bodies need oxygen to be healthy, our skin does too. Enter Michelle Peck, facialist to Madonna, Gwyneth, Jennifer Lopez, Molly Sims, Justin Timberlake and Eva Longoria (just to drop a few names). She started off as a masseuse, however, her career really began to take off when she connected with skincare brand Intraceuticals and began putting her own healing touch on their oxygen treatment called Intraceuticals Infusion.

Those who have experienced Michelle's work, just can't stay away, and I can understand why. After speaking with her at length, not only did I find her to be open, kind and warm, but she is also overflowing with depth, compassion and perspective. Her time spent with famous faces (ehem, she's been on two world tours with Madonna where she gave her a treatment before every single show) has not jaded her one bit. In fact, she is more concerned with the Earth, the human spirit and her charity of choice, Raising Malawi, than with outer beauty.

Intraceuticals came to the US about six years ago from Australia and is now available in over 35 countries. Michelle decided to come on board with them and eventually become their spokesperson because she saw something unique in their technology. Never before has there been a brand that combines 95% hyaluronic acid (the connective tissue that keeps skin lubricated and cushioned aka, young looking) mixed with hyperbaric pressure (oxygen under pressure) and 5% of vitamins A, C, E, aloe vera and green tea extract.

You must travel so much for work, how do you keep your skin looking good? I love serums because they penetrate deeper into my skin than creams.
What's your advice for keeping your skin young and healty? I'm big on staying out of the sun. Some of the most damaged skin I've seen in the world is sun damaged skin. I also use my treatment on the hands, necks and chest.
What's your favourite product? The Opulence Line Wand is great for under eye circles, and the Clarity Line Wand helps dry out blemishes really well.

Group Therapy: Jealousy over Celebrity Bodies

It's springtime and I'm dating again. I have been seeing someone for a few weeks, and have visited his apartment where things got hot, but that's not what this post is about. His apartment is what I imagine an archetypal bachelor pad to be like; simple but clean, and lots of gadgets.. babe calendar included. It was such a turn-off to see the calendar with girls in bikinis on his wall.

Meanwhile, the desktop image on his computer is none other than Jessica Alba in a bikini. Mentally, it bothers me that he would participate in the commercial objectification of women in such a public way, but more importantly, emotionally I'm bothered because I do not look a thing like Jessica Alba! She is petite and has dark features and is skinny, whereas I am a tall blonde and I am fuller-figured. I have big breasts and big hips. To top it off.. I saw a quiz he took on what kind of body he is attracted to, and the results were "skinny and cute".. I'll always be cute but I'm never going to be stick-thin. Like I said, I have curves and I am tall. I workout and do yoga, so I have lean muscle-mass. Jessica Alba and I couldn't be more opposite..

I guess my point is.. how can I overcome jealousy towards an ideal-type? I know a lot of it involves dealing with my insecurity over my body, but I can't help but think that I'm not his ideal preference physically, given the evidence. He's a total catch in every way, except for this, and I want to get past this.. any advice?
