Her blush minidress and Elizabeth and James faux-fur cocoon shrug set a romantic tone, while her black leather gloves, sheer hose, and patent booties inject tough spunk.

I always welcome Cate Blanchett's smashing style and serene smile. The actress attended a Giorgio Armani event in NYC clad in a royal Armani Privé one-shoulder dress with asymmetrical hemline. Purple satin pumps coordinate without being too matchy, while sparkly blue topaz earrings and a tennis bracelet add shine to her beautiful look.

Natalie Portman knows how to turn up the volume. At the NYC screening of her new flick, Brothers — btw, she has her first onscreen sex scene in it — the actress wasn't afraid to experiment with color. Her ultraviolet taffeta Jason Wu frock is fun, but a green satin belt, purple Aldo peep-toe pumps, and bright yellow clutch kick it up a few notches.

Sienna brought a shot of eclecticism that we know and love to the Elle Style Awards. Sienna took home the style icon award and it's obvious why. She was a shining example of youth and funk in her Matthew Williamson printed and ruffled frock and feathered-shoulder Louis Vuitton tuxedo jacket.

As we approach the holidays, I'm on the lookout for original party looks. Eva's wink may not be up to par, but the slick tuxedo-inspired look she wore to the 2010 Pirelli Calendar cocktail reception in London was beyond Fab. She dressed up her slight harem pants with delicate sandals, a draped white top, and a velvet blazer.
