It was almost excusable when we caught Courteney Cox and Joel Madden rocking chunky cell phone holders, but when Molly caught the always fashionable David Beckham hanging with his boys and wearing his BlackBerry on his belt it was just, well, heinous.
I understand he probably doesn't want to cover up the beautiful assets he recently displayed in W Magazine, but even a man purse would look better than this belt clip.
Becks baby, you can't rock Victoria's shiny new Bentley and a $9 cell phone holder at the same time.

Okay, not all cell phone belt clips look as awful as the one in the picture below, but it's my belief that some nerds have traded in their pocket protectors for cell phone belt clips because they just "gotta have their phone on them."
Of course, it's harder for guys because they don't have purses, but even a manbag is more chic than a belt clip and I've seen plenty of otherwise stylish women tying to pull off the look too. I blame Sex and the City for bringing back the fannypack - even if it was Gucci.

Molly caught the "famous-for- questionable -reasons-but-looks- darn-cute-in-a-head-scarf starlet Nicole and her tattoed and sleeveless ruffian boyfriend Joel" this week - her words not mine! - and while she noted the couple has been out and about spending money and wearing rings on their wedding fingers, I think she may have missed a key accessory.
Yep, look closely, that's right.....Joel is actually wearing a cell phone clip.

Last week PopSugar reported that Courteney Cox hit up Il Sole with her daughter, little Coco. I couldn't help but notice the usually chic Cox was sporting an awkward, "this was inspired by a 47-year-old business man" cell phone clip on her belt.
Sadly, Courteney isn't the only celebrity to commit this major geek faux paux.

Whenever I think of scary movies and phones, Scream instantly comes to mind — especially the gory Drew Barrymore kitchen scene — yikes! Back in the eighties and nineties, most horror movies had serial killers cutting phone lines so when the victim (usually helpless young women) went to call the police, the phone would be dead. Nowadays, screenwriters can't write this classic scenario into scripts because a majority of people have swapped their landlines for a cell phone.

Since it's National Pet Peeve Week I want to know: what gets under your skin? (Hopefully, it's not commemorative weeks for random things like pet peeves!) I'll start you off with some of mine.
- Emails that lack proper grammar and capitalization.
- Friends who take long cell phone calls while we're hanging out.

Dear GeekSugar,
I just got a new BlackBerry and was very excited to select my new ringtone and SMS notification sounds. When I am in my profiles, there's an option for setting for In Holster and Out of Holster, but I don't know what that means. Please help!

Is going through someone's text messages OK if you suspect he's up to no good? That was the question on The Hills this week: Heidi goes through Spencer's text messages, finds a text from a bartender he'd been flirting with, and promptly deletes it. In therapy, all Spencer can talk about is how Heidi shouldn't have gone through his phone.

One would think, especially with so many children, Nadya Suleman would be a safety pro and abide by California law by using a Bluetooth device or a hands free cell phone earpiece while operating a motor vehicle.
Sadly, this wasn't the case when the famous mother of fourteen was caught yesterday gabbing on her cell phone while driving by police. The Hands Free Law — which kicked into effect last July — is intended to make drivers more aware while driving — and therefore decreasing traffic accidents.

The Kardashian girls were up to their old tricks again on this week's episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians when Khloe started having some reservations about her boyfriend, basketball player Rashad McCants. Kim, the 007 of cell phone hacking, was able to break into Rashad's cell phone's voicemail to see if there was anything worthy of confirming Khloe's fears. Let's just say that she ended up dumping the guy.
