Trend Alert: Centre Parts at the 2009 BAFTA TV Awards
Last night at the Television BAFTA Awards, the most popular hairstyle of the evening was centre parts. This is a familiar style that we typically see on celebrities at affairs. I love the way the lengths on those that wore their hair down was unstructured and for Louise Redknapp and Tamara Beckwith, they let tendrils fall loosely to the wayside for a more casual effect.

Fearne Cotton opted for a standard red carpet beauty look this afternoon, going for a centre part with loose waves paired with a smoky eye and nude lips. I love how her hair has a two-tone edge with lowlights in the lengths. Although this hair and makeup style isn't groundbreaking, it's on-trend and polished.

Several celebrity couples came together for the launch party of the Louis Dundas Centre for Children's Palliative Care at Claridge's last night. Even though his business is feeling the pinch it was the third big event for Gordon Ramsay and Tana this week, having celebrated Simon Cowell's 50th, and attended the Pride of Britain Awards with fellow launch partygoers Emma Bunton and Jade Jones. Geri Halliwell was once again making headlines with her choice of dress, having worn an outfit from 2002 to the Breast Cancer Fashion Show on Wednesday.
Dennis Hopper Diagnosed With Prostate Cancer
Dennis Hopper has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. His manager Sam Maydew said the actor was being treated at the University of Southern California through a "special programme". When asked about the prognosis, he said: "We're hoping for the best."

Pop Reports: Stereophonics At Brighton Centre
Stereophonics are touring the country with their greatest hits album, Decade In the Sun, and I was lucky enough to see them perform at the Brighton Centre last night. Kelly Jones was as cool as ever, rocking out on stage in his leather jacket and shades, playing an array of guitars alongside band mates Richard, Javier and Adam. They opened with "Vegas Two Times" and played more than 20 tracks from their 10 year back catalogue, as well as both new tracks from the new album.
