Channing and Jenna Celebrate His Number One Film
Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan headed to Las Vegas over the weekend to get a head start on celebrating their first Valentine's Day as a married couple. They broke out the champagne for dinner on Saturday night at Planet Hollywood's StripHouse restaurant, ready to toast the fact that his Dear John was number one at the box office. The milestone was made even more special since Channing's movie unseated Avatar after a seven-week run at the top.

Dear John: Not Enough to Write Home About
Movies based on the work of writer Nicholas Sparks are very hit or miss. Though he consistently uses the same cliches in his tragic loves stories, the results aren't quite as consistent. On the one hand, the film versions can be romantic and endearing, like The Notebook, but other times, the formula produces a schlocky dud (sorry, Nights in Rodanthe).

Channing Makes the Morning Show Rounds With a Smile
Channing Tatum was up early this morning for an appearance on the Today Show, the latest stop on his press tour for Dear John. He and wife Jenna Dewan hit the red carpet together at the LA premiere on Monday night and yesterday he launched his new website before posting his love and heading east. Channing and his costar Amanda Seyfried both have been promoting the movie, and he won't be slowing down anytime soon — he will be stopping by both Live With Regis and Kelly and Late Night With Jimmy Fallon before Friday's release.
