Buzz-Worthy Video: Conan O'Brien on Zach Galifianakis's Between Two Ferns

This is pretty much my dream scenario: Conan O'Brien and Zach Galifianakis sitting down, shooting the breeze. You know I'm a fan of Galifianakis and his awkward Between Two Ferns interview series on Funny or Die. (His off-color remarks to Natalie Portman still make me giggle.) For this latest installment, he questions the Tonight Show host and his sidekick, Andy Richter.

In the video, poor O'Brien keeps lobbing jokes, but Galifianakis shoots them down. (Watch for the "cricket riding a tumbleweed" button.) Oh, and in a random cameo, Andy Dick stops by, forcing O'Brien to move to the floor.

Sugar Bits - Conan O'Brien's Stalker Arrested

A priest who has been sending creepy letters to Conan O'Brien for over a year was arrested Friday and charged with harassment and stalking after attempting to attend a taping of Late Night. Maybe Conan can benefit from the writer's strike by hiding out for awhile. - The NY Times
Rosie O'Donnell will not be starting her own primetime talk show, as negotiations with MSNBC have fallen through. At least she'll always have her blog. - AP

Conan Irishes Up "His" St. Patrick's Day Stew

Earlier this week I let you in on how Good Housekeeping published Conan O'Brien's recipe. Unfortunately it wasn't actually Conan's recipe and so a feud was born. All week long Conan has been talking about it and creating Irish recipes of his own. I sort of thought it would never end, but last night Good Housekeeping's editor in chief, Rosemary Ellis, decided to pay Conan a visit. She apologized, gave him a lifetime subscription to Good Housekeeping, offered to teach him how to cook the stew, and actually brought some in for him to try.

After tasting it, Conan decided to "Irish it up" a bit. Let's see, what would make it more Irish? How about some Jameson? Perhaps some Guinness, too? If you want to see what he did, we got the clip, watch it when you read more.

Just when I thought I had included the best of the best in my stars flipping out with their Flip video cameras slideshow, none other than Conan O'Brien shows off his geekery in LA yesterday.

And who is the adorable subject that Conan is capturing with his ultra-compact Flip Mino? That would be his son Beckett, who was taking a little pony ride in Griffith Park. . . sister Neve wasn't too far behind. Now if only we could see some of that footage on YouTube!

Conan Gets Him Some

It was all fun and drinking games when Rebecca Romijn appeared on Late Night With Conan O'Brien. There was just one problem- no drinks. So Rebecca, being the good sport that she is, played the game and smacked a hard, sober kiss on Conan. This pretty much made his life. After failing to get another kiss outta her, he gave the creepiest love stare I've ever seen, followed by a slow-mo lip curl. Yeowza!

Funnyman Conan O'Brien and his crew created a hilarious faux iPhone commercial detailing some of the extra uses of the new iPhone from Apple, including: camera, movie player, remote control, bottle opener, blow dryer, lip gloss, condiment dispenser, cheese grater, treadmill, children's thermometer...the list goes on...and gets funnier.

Conan has always been one of my late night favorites - and a serious contender for Geek of the Week - so I was tickled pink to see this video. Here's to many more...and Steve Jobs, can you think about the hair dryer feature...a girl could use a thing like that.
