Mark Steps In To Help Out Old Friend Amy Winehouse
Mark Ronson was out in London last night with his girlfriend Tennessee Thomas, friend Jamie Reynolds from the Klaxons and Cory Kennedy. He's just stepped in to help old friend Amy Winehouse out on her new tracks, after her record company were less than impressed with her newest demos. Last time Mark and Amy worked together was last April on a potential James Bond theme, but he quit as she wasn't ready to be working again.

Cory Kennedy, the web-celeb teenager, who has partied all over the world before even graduating from high school, is about to become a beauty icon, Fashionista reports. She's set to be the next face of Urban Decay cosmetics, with ads appearing in magazines, billboards, and in-store promotional signs. Considering her sometimes-messy, adventurous style, I think she's a good fit for the brand.

Roberto Cavalli has had a rocky start to 2009 with his Just Cavalli show being pulled from Milan Fashion Week. However, it's great to see him with a smile on his face again as he opened a new boutique in Paris with a little help from his celebrity friends. Milla Jovovich, who has been a front row fixture, partied in a white Spring '09 Cavalli dress and killer heels.

Fab told me that hats are big these days, but I thought it would be difficult to work that look outside of a fashion show. But there they were at last night's Teen Vogue Young Hollywood party. Hilary Duff wore a floppy knit beret, Frances Bean Cobain donned a more structured hat, and web celeb Cory Kennedy channeled Isabella Blow with a netted chapeau.

Last week we watched the fashionistas flock to New York Fashion Week, but now they'll be crossing the pond as London Fashion Week kicked off yesterday, attracting all those interested in what we'll be wearing in Spring/Summer 2009. We saw Roisin Murphy at NYFW, and she looks set to be a fixture of LFW too, as she popped up at two events in strikingly different outfits.

John Legend and Joel Madden were just a few of the stars that came out last night for the Billabong Second Annual Design for Humanity to Benefit Surfrider Foundation in LA. The foundation works to protect our oceans, so naturally eco-friendly Adrian Grenier made an appearance with his girlfriend Isabel Lucas. Scarlett Johansson was in London last night to attend the Tribute To Cinema party at Big Sky Studios alongside Thandie Newton, Rachel Stevens, Will Young, Michelle Collins, Joseph Fiennes, Jamie Dornan and Eva Herzigova. Mark Ronson and his girlfriend Tennessee Thomas also attended, looking as comfortable at the swanky party as they had at the pub on Sunday! Many of the ladies went with basic black outfits, from Rachel Stevens' jumpsuit — get her look here — to Thandie, Alice Dellal and Scarlett's LBDs, Will Young even carried the trend to his still dyed black hair!
