Taylor Swift Sends Mixed Messages About Taylor Lautner

Following her big win at the CMA Awards in America last week, greeting cards designer Taylor Swift looked cute as she made her way around London yesterday, wearing a red hat during the day and then returning to her hotel in the evening with a Topshop bag. She appeared on the Paul O'Grady Show yesterday and didn't give a straight answer when quizzed about her relationship with Taylor Lautner: check out the full interview and her performance of "Fifteen" after the jump. However, in an interview in the latest issue of InStyle US she told a different story, saying: "I'm in the mind-set where I choose to be single - like I got to light scented candles and write in my diary and I wouldn't have time for that if I had a boyfriend right now!" We've seen the Taylors together in LA and Chicago, so what do you think is happening?

While my daughter's costume is a little lost in translation due to it being too hot for her to wear the hat and tights (which really made her costume), she's still the sweetest cupcake I've ever seen. Plus, who doesn't love a tutu?!

Lil Find: Beary Cute Hat

Grandmas like to spoil their grandchildren and my mother is no different. She brought my lil one the cutest hat for Old Man Winter.

If a child's hat has ears on it, I'm sold. The LiaMolly topper has bear ears, stitched blue eyes, and ear flaps like little cub paws. Perfect for chilly weather, this cotton hat keeps my baby warm and stylin' for $28.

And, if I had a dime for everyone who commented on the beary cute hat this weekend, we could have bought two of them!

Is Your Kitty a Red Devil?

Kitties can celebrate their own Meow-lo-ween, just don't get crazy with the costumes. Most finicky felines will protest a full-body suit with their paws and claws but a simple hat? Sure, why not. I know of a whole group dedicated to cats in hats you bought at Target and my recent trip to this superstore turned up some amazing results.

Sadly, I couldn't find the exact models online, but these caps come close to the cuteness. With black/white or brown/black stripes with the Red Horns, is $30 too much to buy in to this photo opp?

I recently gushed how cool it is my mom is getting back into sewing. She already knits me amazing scarves, hats, and ponchos, but now she can make me clothes. And costumes! Her first project is my Halloween costume (stay tuned on more details pertaining to that). Last week we went to some fabric stores to look for faboo fabrics. In an ideal world, I'd be carrying this Lanvin Amalia Quilted Tote ($1,475). It's nice and roomie for all my patterns and sewing stuff. Let's see what you found for me . . .

DSquared's Camp Chic: Love It or Hate It?

DSquared always amuses. Their hodgepodge style draws inspiration from some of the most random places. For Spring, the twin bros were inspired by the great outdoors. Camping, to be specific. Last season it was the paparazzi prone PYTs of Hollywood, and I loved the layering and cheeky accessories. There are fashion-loving girls who don't mind the dirt and insects that come with tough terrain, but when did trucker hats get cute again? Adversely, the plaids, cat-eye specs, Band-Aids, glittering bracelets, and bottles, are fabulous touches. The splattered purple dress is rugged chic at its best. Are you feeling it?
