Do not watch this video unless you want a little tear to form in one of your eyes. Icy the cat died and left behind a teeny little kitten, the sole surviving kitten from her last litter. (Tears forming yet?) Well, the family was determined to raise her, and what do you know! The family pup Shelby can't keep his paws off her -he loves her so much. There is too much cute in this video: the kitty nursing from her bottle while her little ears wiggle; kitty snuggling with Shelby in the crook of his neck; and Shelby trying to bring her back into the fold with his giant paw. Sigh. I'm dying over here.

My girl geek and I had a good chuckle with this video since it combines our fave things: cuddly kittens and technology. Although I'm sure that the kitten doesn't hate technology, he sure seems confused by it! And out of the ~~primordial ooze~~ similarly-colored carpet crawled Taffy, the 4-week-old Himalayan cutie, who doesn't yet quite have the whole motor skills thing down yet. (All the better to trap her and tickle her!) You can't really blame the woman playing around with her for mega-babytalking. Around cuteness like this, it's an inevitable side effect.

Cute Alert: Orphaned Kitten Needs A Name!

Little Orphan Cutie here is three days old and he's the sole survivor of his mother's litter. Although mom recently passed away, this kitten has plenty of love to help him get on with life-- even the family dog has taken him under her ~~wing~~ paw! There's only one thing missing: a name. Any suggestions? (What first came to my mind was "OMGIJustWannaSqueezeYou," but I'm guessing that ain't gonna cut it.) Just to add to the pathos? A sappy soundtrack.

This thirsty kitty won't drink from a bowl, so he suckles from a bottle instead. He can even cup his tiny padded paws and feed himself! We can only wonder when this precocious little guy will say his first word...

The Samsung Ultratouch Mobile phone claims not only that its product offers something for everyone (including kittens, puppies, bunnies and hamsters), but that its alternate uses are quite varied too (allowing puppies to take self-portraits, hammies to screen movies, and kittens to lounge by the fire). I'd call bullsh*t, but I'm too busy melting into a puddle from the cuteness.
