Dare I say it my friends, but Fall is just around the corner. Since we can't escape the truth, we might as well embrace it and face those cute fresh-for-Fall laptop sleeves.

Now I don't know what the weather is like in your neck of the woods come September, but here in San Francisco, temperatures tend to rise rather than fall. I don't have a kitty, but I can imagine that they can get their little paws into anything. Such is the case for Teamsugar member morenasobuena, as she enlists our help to find her an attractive and cat-proof earbud case to store her new headphones:

I love my iPod headphones and unfortunately so does my cat. She chews them as soon as I leave them unattended to, and last night even stuck her paw into the back of my laptop bag and pulled it out, leaving me a nice surprise in the morning. I bought two more sets today along with a tin of Altoids and I plan on temporarily leaving my headphones in this as a protective measure. Are there any better/geekier/cuter headphone cases?

According to PetSugar, cats don't like certain materials (like tinfoil for example), so if you want your feline to stay far away from something, place it in a bed of tinfoil, and you should be good to go! I went into Crate and Barrel the other day to find a tea pot, but to my surprise I found . . . laptop bags?

I usually associate C&B with cozy home stuff, kitchen things, but nothing for my geeky side. The techiest thing I'd seen there till now was a laptop rest (which I repurposed for my sewing machine). These are actual Crate and Barrel laptop bags, too, not just them carrying the LeSportsac brand or anything.

In any case, the soft nylon bags were $20 and pretty cute, if you're thinking about stopping in for a citrus reamer and a new laptop tote!

Over-Shoulder Laptop Sleeves: Love or Leave?

This is not the first time I've seen a hybrid laptop sleeve/bag, but it is probably the first time I've see one like this - with the long shoulder strap that makes it look more convenient to carry.

Lucky's Laptop Sleeves come in two prints: as the Flower Power Suede Computer Sleeve ($68) or the Tochigi Computer Sleeve ($48), but the prints are where they get problematic for me.

The shape of the bag is sleek, but the patterns? Not so much. Can't decide of they're hippie, grandma, or simply carefree cute.

What's your take?
