President Bush Buys a Post-White House House

As President-elect Barack Obama prepares to move into the White House, President Bush has picked up some new property for his life post-1600 Penn, when he leaves office in January. George and Laura have ponied up for a 8,501-square-foot, four-bedroom, ranch-style home in Preston Hollow, a wealthy North Dallas neighborhood where they lived before he became governor of Texas in 1995. I guess George is saying goodbye to the Georgian style.Preston Hollow counts some other prominent residents, including Dallas mayor Tom Leppert, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, former Dallas Cowboys Roger Staubach and Chuck Howley, and billionaire investors Harold Simmons and T. Boone Pickens, among others, so the Bush family should feel right at home, and perhaps their new neighbors won't be starstruck. The word on the sale price is that the property sold for "considerably more" than its $2.1 million appraisal price. Looks like the maltipoo got a trim to share the spotlight at Jessica Simpson's perfume launch in Dallas over the weekend – after all the fragrance is called "Fancy" so could she bring along a pup with a sloppy cut? I think not.I know North would remain atop that table for about one second . . . followed by breaking glass and his dive into the audience for kisses. NBC is offering 1,000 "Friday Night Lights" fans a chance to throw a house party with a sneak preview of the show's second season, and the Futon Critic has the details. You have to enter by today, so hurry!

Robert Pattinson and Eclipse Pals Party After Twilight

Once the sun had set on a busy week filming scenes for Eclipse, the Twilight saga actors headed out to party in the restaurants and bars of Vancouver. Robert Pattinson looked a little pale under his hood as he made his way home after a night out on Saturday, while Kellan Lutz, Bryce Dallas Howard and the wolf pack headed to Gothams for dinner together. Come the light of day, Xavier Samuel looked like he was in a great mood as he took another solo stroll around Vancouver. Now a new week has started, hopefully we'll get to see more of the cast on set: I'm particularly looking forward to seeing Robert filming more scenes with Kristen Stewart.

Kellan and Peter Stick With Their Fitness Routine in Vancouver

Some of the most exciting parts of Eclipse are the epic battle scenes, and the cast has been hard at work in Vancouver making sure they're in perfect shape when it comes to fight training. Kellan Lutz and Peter Facinelli hit up a yoga class on Wednesday to get bendy, while Bryce Dallas Howard looked ready for a workout, meeting up with fellow Twilight saga newcomer Xavier Samuel. While some of the cast members will be working hard on the movie this weekend, other key players will be heading to NYC for the VMAs. Kellan is already in Manhattan attending fashion week events. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were spotted together as Edward and Bella for the first time this week, and on Sunday all eyes will be on the duo again as they preview never-before-seen footage from New Moon and the Death Cab for Cutie song from the soundtrack. We'll be on the red carpet and updating live, so stay tuned here and for even more up-to-the second updates on Twitter!

The Twilighters Travel to Vancouver in a Pack to Start Eclipse

Members of the cast of Eclipse left LA and touched down in Vancouver early this morning to start work on their latest Twilight movie. A handful of the stars made appearances at TwiCon this weekend - stay tuned to see what Peter Facinelli told us about the experience! Newcomers Xavier Samuel and Rachelle Lefevre's controversial replacement, Bryce Dallas Howard, had big smiles on their faces as they joined Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, and Elizabeth Reaser at the airport. Some of them will be turning right back around to LA for this weekend's Teen Choice Awards, which Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are also scheduled to attend. As the third installment gets underway, Stephenie Meyer is being sued by an author who claims she stole Breaking Dawn's plot from her novel.
