Are You Getting Tired of Competition Dance Shows?
So You Think You Can Dance is now in full swing, and Dancing With the Stars is nearing its season end, but it looks like there won't be any time of the year when you have to go without a dance competition show. It's just been announced that Kathy Griffin has signed on to host Let's Dance, where stars re-enact famous dance routines from pop culture. While it sounds kind of awesome, I feel overloaded with similar news, since Oxygen has just given its competition reality show Dance Your Ass Off a new season.

I'm surprised at how into this season of So You Think You Can Dance I already am; in only the second competition show so far, we watched some amazing pieces, and now I can say I've already been rocked by eliminations. So You Think You Can Dance Rundown: First Dancers Eliminated!
The emotional roller coaster of So You Think You Can Dance begins! The dancers competed for the first time on Tuesday, and with the enthralling routines came the first two contestant eliminations. We're now down to 18 dancers, and I'm so happy and relieved to finally be in the throes of the competition.
SYTYCD's Brandon and Ariana Talk About Being Cut First
This week's ousted dancers from So You Think You Can Dance were the first to go since the top 20 were selected. Brandon Dumlao and Ariana Dubose got on the phone with a few reporters this morning, including me, to chat about how they feel after last night's elimination.

- On the timeline of replacing Billy Bell: I got the call on Friday at 11 in the morning and they told me that I was able to replace another dancer, and it was Billy, in this case.

After weeks of auditions, we finally have the top 20 dancers on So You Think You Can Dance! There were some surprises for who got cut, but on the whole, I'm so excited about this new round of contestants and can't wait until next week for the competition to start. Taylor Swift Sings With Stars and Hangs With Lautner
Taylor Swift wore a cute floral number as she left the Beverly Wilshire Hotel yesterday before her appearance on Dancing With the Stars — check out her two performances after the jump. After partying with Katy Perry on Saturday night, Taylor met up with Taylor Lautner to see a hockey game. We spotted the pair a couple of weeks ago getting cosy in Chicago, so they're obviously keen to spend time together.
So You Think You Can Dance: Who Deserves the Top 20 Spots?
It wouldn't be season six of So You Think You Can Dance without an episode stretching things out a liiiittle longer before the competition, but Monday night's special, the one-off "Meet the Top 20," was actually a fun respite between auditions and competition. We were treated to an evening of the dancers performing in their own style, with no voting or judging taking place yet (that'll happen tonight, in the two-hour competition and voting blitz).
But just because no official voting began doesn't mean that we viewers weren't judging ourselves — I relished the opportunity to see everyone in their own style of dancing, because it's a level playing field.

Lily's also finding time to house hunt in the countryside and encourage youngsters to get involved with cricket, and she's following Amy Winehouse's lead by signing up to appear on Strictly Come Dancing, as have Rod Stewart, Mariah Carey and Bette Midler.
