An Italian Wedding for Denise and Richie?

Denise had quite a roller coaster of a year in 2006, but things are looking up for the actress. Last September Denise was spotted wearing a ginormous 9.5 carat diamond ring and the rumor was she and Richie were engaged. Denials were issued but now new rumors arise. Apparently, the couple is planning to get married this summer in Italy. In this weekend's issue of Life and Style they report:

After a nine-month courtship, Richie Sambora and Denise Richards are making it official! A friend of Denise’s tells Life & Style that the couple plan to wed in July in Italy (most likely Milan), where they shared a romantic getaway last summer. But don’t expect a big blowout. Denise, 35, and Richie, 47, are keeping the nuptials low-key with a ceremony of only 50 friends and family, says the pal.

Why will they wed in Milan? “Denise loves it,” says a friend.

Sounds like it won't be quite like Tom and Katie's wedding extravaganza but that doesn't mean Richie is afraid of going all out. For Christmas, he supposedly gave Denise a $125,000 princess necklace full of 2.5 carat diamonds. Wow! Nice gift. We just hope the ink dries from his divorce to Heather before Richie gets remarried.

The Charlie, Denise, Richie, Heather Love Scandal

Charlie and Denise were clearly going to have a messy divorce when restraining orders were requested and dirty secrets were exposed. Everyone actually felt bad for Denise, that is until she stepped out with her BFF's new ex Richie Sambora . Then Denise told the world that the reason Heather's marriage ended was because Heather was unfaithful. Things finally settled a bit over the summer as Denise vacationed with Richie and Heather moved on with David Spade. We think Heather is probably better off without a friend like Denise who claimed their friendship was over long before she started dating Richie, but the whole thing went down wrong. The good news from this bizarre love scandal is that Charlie and Denise worked things out in a civil way for their cute little girls.

Denise and Richie jetted off for a vacation in Honolulu this week for a little fun in the sun. She must have been needing some R&R after wrapping up Blonde and Blonder last week, her movie with Pamela Anderson. The film is about two beautiful blondes who are mistaken as international mob killers. Yes, sounds like Oscar gold, especially after Pamela recently said that she prefers to call the film "Two Stupid B*tches."

Rumors are still swirling about an Italian wedding this summer for Denise and Richie. The way these two are looking together, we doubt they'll be able to wait that long! Besides, Denise looks beach body and bride ready. After two kids she still looks like that hot bond girl. Can't say the same for Richie. For more pics just read more

They also seem to spend the vast majority of their time on the beach in Hawaii. Not that I blame them, at all, but where are all her kids? Is Charlie Sheen really allowed to be alone with them? Denise and Richie Broke Up Two Months Ago?!?

Just three weeks ago we were looking at these pictures of Denise and Richie seeming very much together asking you if you thought that these two would tie the knot this summer and now we're hearing that they broke up two months ago?!? What? According to InTouch, the couple "didn't want to make it public because they lived through public divorces and it was very painful." Apparently the couple remains good friends and these pictures were taken when Denise flew out to be near Richie the day before his father passed away of cancer. While I can't say I've been behind this couple from the start, it's always sad to hear about a break up, but it's nice that these two are still able to be there for each other when they need it.

Will Denise and Richie Get Married This Year?

Denise and Richie looked very much in love in NYC. Rumors have been circulating that the two are going to get hitched in July. But they won't even admit if they're engaged or not! Denise and Richie Engaged?

Heather just broke up with David since she was still not really ready for something serious but it looks like her ex-husband Richie Sambora feels differently. Life & Style is reporting the two are engaged. They made a public appearance at the Fashion Rocks show last night. L&S reports:

While Denise's rep was not immediately available for comment, these exclusive photos show her $100,000, 9.5 carat ring, which, according to an insider, Richie presented to her on Sept. 2.

“They were on their way to the Staples Center [in LA] to see the fights,” says the insider. “He got down on one knee in the back of the limo.”

What's interesting is that TMZ reports that the couple also went public last night at the Fashion Rocks event but that Denise was not wearing any rocks on her hands. Hmmm.

The couple are very public but they are denying any recent engagement rumors. However, that is not going to stop Denise from smiling for the cameras and acting all in love while her old friend Heather still recovers from her broken marriage.

Denise Gets Sideswiped

Denise Richards was out and about in Beverly Hills with Sam yesterday. Unfortunately, their mother-daughter day was seriously interrupted when Denise's parked SUV was sideswiped. She said: "The guy took my door off, I was taking her out on the other side and he took the door off!"

Denise and Sam look pretty shaken up, but luckily Richie was there to save the day. (The cupcakes probably didn't hurt either). Even when distressed, Denise still looks good - as for Richie...maybe he had to get dressed in a hurry. We're just glad to hear that nobody was hurt.

Heather Still Wants a Rock Star

Last year was not a good one for Heather Locklear, what with her husband taking up with her best friend Denise (sorry, that's former best friend). Now there's rumors that Denise and Richie are going to tie the knot in a romantic Italian ceremony! But that hasn't made her bitter. She says she's doing good, and despite marrying and divorcing two musicians (remember her and Tommy Lee?) she says she's still totally into rock stars. Here's more:

"I still like rock stars," she said Thursday at the annual TV critics conference in Pasadena, Calif. "Any man is good for me (just) not married men."

But right now there is no special someone – musician or not – in her life, according to the star.

"I'm single," she confirmed, though she has been linked to comedian David Spade. Just last month the pair were spotted in Honolulu, where they took in the final show on U2's Vertigo world tour.

Love that she said she wouldn't go after married men. You know that one was just for Denise. Still, it's kind of weird that Heather is denying that she and David are together. Is she embarrassed of him or something or is she just hoping another rock star will come along? Either way she seems to be handling the Richie/Denise thing pretty well.
