Closer Look: Samsung's New Crystal USB Audio Player
I finally got the chance to get an up-close and personal look at Samsung's latest mp3 player, the crystal U3 USB digital audio player. While looks can sometimes be deceiving, I kid you not when I say this player is extremely small. The ultra slim U3 is literally a USB flash drive turned music player as the USB stick pops out so you can directly insert it into your laptop.
Old-Fashioned Cases For High-Tech Gadgets
I spotted (and loved) Thomas Paul's typewriter laptop case over the Summer, but just recently found even more retro-inspired cases. The Simpler Times Old-Fashioned Cases ($25 each) are made for a cell phone, digital camera, and MP3 player and feature super-retro versions of the modern-day gadgets they're meant to hold.
Given my love for vintage geekery, I'm definitely a fan of these cute cases.

When I first saw this MemoryVue digital frame on GeekAlerts, I thought cute—such a great Christmas gift idea! Then I saw the price, which is around $1000 and I thought no way. Thankfully this frame does come with a few useful bells and whistles which compensates for its expensive price tag.
