I don't know about you, but I'm a big fan of tough love. Being direct reduces the chance of misunderstandings, and when trying to get a point across, why waste time beating around the bush? Some people, however, don't do well with that kind of forthrightness.

Just go to the site and click on the event section. Say name of the event (wedding, reception, etc.), as well as your starting address or intersection.

If you don't have time to text google for address help you can always call the free cell phone service Dial DIR-ECT-IONS (347-328-4667) for maps and directions.
Our friends at Switched wrote about the company last week and after learning that Dial Dir-ect-ions sends driving directions to your phone via SMS, I decided to test it out. All you have to do is call the number and step through the voice-activated menus, by telling it your starting and destination points.

On Wednesday night the Fashion Awareness Direct awards took place celebrating the best young design talent from across the country. Alicia Stone, 21, from Nottingham Trent University (below left with her design) walked away with the top prize for her ‘wearable, buyable and covetable’ outfit. The design brief requested that students should create one outfit that could be transformed through additional layers, altering its silhouette to create a new outfit from the original piece.

Ready to get a full rundown on the life of Keith Richards? Variety has confirmed the rumor that Johnny Depp will be directing a documentary about the Rolling Stones guitarist.
Richards would be intriguing source material (remember when he joked about snorting his dad?), but it's made more interesting that Depp is behind the camera.

The beloved National Zoo panda took a one-way direct flight from Dulles to Chengdu, China (in that nifty crate) this morning. Sad.
There's no passport necessary as this US-born babe is headed home to meet some pretty female pandas, fingers crossed.

Matt Damon was on set of his latest film, Hereafter, in London today after receiving the news of his Oscar nomination. The Clint Eastwood-directed Invictus earned two — one for Matt's supporting role as well as a nod for Morgan Freeman in the best actor category. Matt was busy on the set, but Freeman expressed his gratitude and congrats to Damon from Rome.

In Hollywood, sequels are always possible: Not only has Paramount Pictures given Mission Impossible IV the green light, its star Tom Cruise has also been confirmed to reprise his role as Ethan Hunt.
Cruise, along with JJ Abrams, will produce the movie, though Abrams won't be directing, as he did for Mission Impossible III. That job is still open but screenwriters have already been hired and the idea has been pitched by Cruise himself.
