I don't know about you, but I'm a big fan of tough love. Being direct reduces the chance of misunderstandings, and when trying to get a point across, why waste time beating around the bush? Some people, however, don't do well with that kind of forthrightness.

If you don't have time to text google for address help you can always call the free cell phone service Dial DIR-ECT-IONS (347-328-4667) for maps and directions.
Our friends at Switched wrote about the company last week and after learning that Dial Dir-ect-ions sends driving directions to your phone via SMS, I decided to test it out. If you live in the northern hemisphere and haven't yet switched the direction of your ceiling fan's blades, now's the time to do so. You want to make sure that the blades' direction is switched from moving in a counterclockwise direction to a clockwise direction.
To do so, just flip the switch at the base so that the blades rotate clockwise (that's when you're looking up at it from below).

"[Y]eah, money's tight. If people are going to spend their dollars, they want to know it's a good product. People are staying home more, so we've directed more marketing efforts toward cheap date nights — for the price of a movie and dinner, buy a vibrator, stay home and have fun."

By now we all know about the not-so-free nature of those FreeCreditReport.com services; a few of you even say you've fallen for its misleading practices. But even after the government publicly condemned the site, "free" credit monitoring services — which require you to sign up for a paid service, but promise you can cancel at any time — are popping up everywhere.
One friend recently had a particularly nasty experience with one of these companies while apartment hunting.
