I think it's happened to us all. You head to the store to stock up on your favorite lipstick that you've worn for years, only to be informed by the clerk that it's been discontinued. Panic strikes, then anger.

What does a drugstore have in common with Dolce & Gabbana? Usually, the answer would be a big "not much," but when it comes to beauty, things are different. The fabulous and famous makeup artist Pat McGrath worked with D&G on its newish Dolce & Gabbana makeup collection, creating a wide range of colors for the luxe launch.

Oh no! I was so upset after I learnt this morning that Scott Barnes makeup is going to be discontinued. I'm a huge fan of his cosmetics and although they aren't widely available in the UK, you can get them online (and of course whenever you visit the States).

With the help of these smoky eye shadow palettes, getting that sultry, come-and-get-me eye makeup look has never been easier. All you have to do is blend the lightest colour just under the brow bone, use the second lightest shade all over the lid (stop at the crease), add the medium dark shadow to the crease (remembering to blend well) and you can deepen the crease and line your eyes with the darkest shadow. See, it's a cinch!

So, each season she has decided to release one signature lipstick to complement her collection. Summer's choice will appeal to girls who were born to love volcanoes.
