The Princess and The Frog is the new animated 2D feature from Disney, which looks set to capture the magic of older classics. It's a fairy tale centered on a young girl named Princess Tiana who lives in New Orleans' French Quarter during the Jazz Age, and encounters a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again. The story really kicks off when they kiss, as you'll see from the trailer below!

Some girls never let go of their wish to be princesses, and thanks to designer Kristie Kelly, they don't have to. The Kirstie Kelly for Disney by Mouwad collection, shown at Bridal Week in New York, features six engagement rings and wedding bands that pay homage to Disney's leading princesses.
The engagement rings, named after Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Cinderella, Jasmine, Ariel, and Belle are supposed to be "subtle references to the personalities of each princess."

I know a very smart, independent, tomboyish 5-year-old who is enthralled by the idea of being a princess. It was Fiona from the Shrek films that got her hooked.
Girls have always loved playing with dolls and pretending they're princesses, but it appears to be crammed down their throats even more now by toy manufacturers and movie studios.

Simon Cowell's gal pal and American born singer Sinitta arrived at the London launch of Disney On Ice's "Princess Wishes" show yesterday sporting casual double prairie plaits in her long black hair. These Desperate Mousewives need a little less magic and little more sugar in their lives. GiggleSugar, that is. (Shameless plug, I know.) Thanks, Autumn87, for the find!

Selena Gomez showed some shoulder in her mini dress at a Raise Hope for the Congo event at Jane's House in LA last night. In the past few weeks she made the interview rounds in NYC promoting Princess Protection Program, and her packed schedule seems to have followed her back from the East coast. As the Disney star continues to grow up before our eyes, it seems like her interests are expanding well beyond the world of acting.

Selena Gomez is in New York promoting Princess Protection Program, but she managed to find a little free time for some shopping at French Connection and Armani Exchange yesterday. Later, she slipped into another adorable white dress for Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. She chatted with Jimmy about working for Disney and turned the tables on the host to ask him some questions that she gets asked by teen magazines.
