Tina and Jon Get Creative and Artistic For the Tech Emmys

Tina Fey reunited with 30 Rock guest star Jon Hamm Saturday at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in LA. He hit the red carpet alongside girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt, with both of them looking happy as usual. Another new episode of Mad Men aired last night, so check out Buzz's highlights here. Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Jerry Ferrara also arrived side by side, while Ashley Tisdale and Selena Gomez - who won for Wizards of Waverly Place - went solo. HBO had a big evening, taking home 16 statues for the technical work in Grey Gardens among other programs. Tina Fey continued her successful award show streak, winning one for her appearances as Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live.

Halle and Ashlee Mind the Gap With Famous Friends

Celebrities were out in Hollywood last night celebrating the launch of Gap's new 1969 premium denim line. Halle Berry stepped out with her man Gabriel Aubry, while Emma Roberts rolled solo. Ashlee Simpson was fresh from the TCAs to smile and strike a few poses, and Joel Madden manned the DJ booth while Nicole hosted a bash across town. It was a crowd that often turns up to support high-end designs, but they all looked happy to snag pairs of the budget-friendly jeans that are all priced under $70.

Scrubs Goes to Med School For Season Nine

The return of Scrubs for a ninth season was one of the more surprising stories of this year's Upfronts, and ever since, I've been curious to see how creator Bill Lawrence plans to make things work now that Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke, and many of the show's other stars won't be back full-time. Well, now we have an answer: Scrubs 2.0 will move from Sacred Heart to medical school, turning Turk (Donald Faison) and Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) into professors for a new crop of up-and-coming young doctors.

As Lawrence told Entertainment Weekly:

It's going to be a different show. It'll still be life-and-death stakes, but if the show is just Scrubs again in the hospital with a different person's voiceover, it would be a disaster and people would be mad.

Sacred Heart will still be a part of the show, even if it's not the primary setting: The students Cox and Turk teach will rotate through its halls and, presumably, encounter some familiar characters along the way.

As for those students, Lawrence suggests we should expect "half the cast, if not 60 percent of it" to consist of new faces - though Braff, Chalke, Judy Reyes, and Ken Jenkins will all be making guest appearances. Of the newbies, one "will be fairly famous," as ABC reportedly wants Lawrence to hire a big name for the role.

Hills Girls and Celebrity Parents Make Time to Be Heroes

Big-hearted stars of all ages got together for a sunny afternoon in LA yesterday at the 20th annual A Time For Heroes Celebrity Carnival to support the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz brought Bronx to his first charity event, where he stayed close to mom and dad at the t-shirt making booth - check out an adorable video of Bronx below. Heidi Klum was there with her three kids who could not get enough of the giant slide. Most of The Hills girls made appearances though Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth showed up after Kristin Cavallari had already done her red carpet walk. Stephanie Pratt was preoccupied thinking about Heidi and Spencer down in Costa Rica while Lo joked that the carnival was more her speed than bug eating when it comes to charity. The Disney stars were also out in full force including Selena Gomez and a performance by Miley Cyrus to round out the day of philanthropy, delicious food and wholesome fun for so many families.

TV Tonight: The Scrubs Finale

It's hard to know what exactly to call tonight's episode of Scrubs. Series finale? Season finale? The Last Time You'll See Zach Braff On Scrubs Except Maybe That's Not Even True?

This was all a bit more clear-cut a year ago, when Scrubs made the leap from NBC to ABC for what was supposed to be its final season. Braff said he was done (though he's said he'd be willing to drop by again), and creator Bill Lawrence started working on another show. But within the past few months, there have been rumblings that Scrubs could keep going, even without Braff, Lawrence, or any of the other original cast members who move on to other jobs.

So maybe we should just call tonight JD's big farewell and leave it at that? The episode takes place during his final shift at Sacred Heart, and it's designed to give closure to a number of storylines. Whether we need that closure or not remains to be seen, but it looks like it should be a sweet reward for Scrubs fans who have stuck by the show for all these years. Stars Come Out to See Jay-Z and DJ AM on Stage

Jay-Z left the Spirit Awards to kick off his tour at the re-opening of the Hollywood Palladium last night. As expected, DJ AM was right there to help work those turntables for his second appearance since the plane crash - which he recently opened up about in an interview and said he "jumped through a fireball" to get out of the burning plane. While the celebrity attendees like Ellen Pompeo and Hayden Panettiere may have missed watching the debate last night, Jay-Z still took the opportunity to talk politics a bit on stage. Between his welcome home party and having lots of friends around to keep company, it looks like DJ AM is happy to be back at work after the tragedy.

ABC All Stars Pose Hands-on-Hips and Party the Night Away

After spending a long day sitting on panels and fielding questions at the TCAs, the ABC and Disney stars got dressed up and hit the red carpet last night. Despite moving filming to NYC, the Ugly Betty beauties like Becki Newton (get her look here) were representing, even with no America Ferrera. Mixing our medical shows, Kate Walsh hung all over Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence celebrating life back on ABC. Nick Lachey didn't have Vanessa on his arm but looked handsome out promoting his High School Musical reality show. Scrubs, Ashton, and Life on Mars All Go Big on ABC

Yesterday was another fun one at the TCAs in LA! Buzz and I buckled down to enjoy the first day of ABC panels, which included some swoonworthy celebrity sightings including Ashton Kutcher and newly fit Zach Braff. Check out Buzz for full news on the shows, but here are my thoughts on the day, shows, and whether or not Jonny Lee Miller wants to talk about Angelina Jolie:

The day kicked off with Eli Stone and the question on everyone's mind was Katie, Katie, Katie. We got a few more details on her role, but mostly we'll have to wait for Oct. 21 to see her return to TV singing and dancing.
When asked about Angelina Jolie, her former husband, Eli Stone star Jonny Lee Miller, said we'd have to call her. Ha.
Breaking news: The Scrubs folks are funny! While Bill Lawrence revealed that this will be Zach Braff's last year on the show, the whole group seemed excited about the move to ABC.
Love love love Sarah Chalke (who they kept joking is the mother on How I Met Your Mother). Lots more from the hilarious panel here.

When asked about his recent weight loss, Zach Braff talked about being in the best shape of his life thanks to a certain someone he met about a year ago. Hmmm . . .
The whole Scrubs cast genuinely seems like they love each other, which is such a treat - Braff and Donald Faison kept talking about being best friends. Guy love between two guys. Plus, Bill Lawrence was super excited for Courteney Cox to join the cast for a few episodes, and Neil Flynn (the Janitor) jokingly revealed that his characters real name is "Zanzibar Buck Buck McPhee".
Sigh, Ashton. Nothing I love more than a man in a Red Sox hat. He was there to present the new game show he's producing, Opportunity Knocks which, briefly, is a contest about how well you know details about your family. When asked how he would do on it, Ashton said Demi would do better than he would since women are more attentive and compassionate.
When asked about whether the show was his idea, Ashton talked about no one "owning" ideas and how we're just lucky to be able to "manage" them. He also talked about having no regrets about Punk'd, but enjoying doing something more family friendly fun too. So sweet hearing him talk about his girls, awww!
