I'm all about getting more bang for your buck. Why not invest in something that can be worn an infinite number of ways? Donna Karan's The Infinity Dress ($895) is one of those pieces you want to have in your closet. Just look below to see the fabulous things it can do. Yes, it's pricey, but when you consider that it can be worn at least 10 ways, it's not so bad. It also comes in red and pink, though black is sleekest. I can't choose a favorite - each one is more stylish than the last. And the jersey fabric means it's super comfortable, too.

Trend Alert: Metallica Jackets

I have a ton of Winter coats in my closet, but I've yet to own a metallica jacket. I admit, I was shy of the shiny, but seeing Gwyneth Paltrow in her silver Alice + Olivia coat and Christian Louboutin caged booties at the Valentino event in NYC swayed me otherwise. These toppers inject major wattage to dark winterwear, and are perfect for upcoming holiday soirees. If the longer length is too much bling for your taste, try out shorter jackets or tailored blazers. Let's not forget to pair these shimmery jackets with tough shoes - a la Gwyneth - to temper the glossy glamour.

Who Wore It Better? Donna Karan Sequin Halter Dress

Iman was one of my favorite red-carpet queens when she wore her Donna Karan sequin halter dress a few weeks ago. Now, French actress Eva Green is here to challenge her. Let's break them down. Supermodel Iman opted for more bling via diamond bracelets and diamond drop earrings. Eva, on the other hand, kept her glimmer to a minimum by wearing a small ring and stud earrings. In the beauty department, Iman matched her lipstick to her gown, while Eva wore a contrasting burnt-orange shade. Both ladies look amazingly svelte, but who wore their Donna Karan gown better?

I admit, I was growing quite weary of the current selection of Fall handbags, but my outlook changed when I laid eyes on cool pleated bags. Will You Buy Beauty Products To Help Fight Breast Cancer?

For those of you who don't know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. In past years, oodles of beauty brands have banded together and have put the pink ribbon across one of their signature best-selling products whose profits will propel breast cancer research or help raise awareness about the disease that effects so many women.

For example, Essie has released a nail varnish called Future Dreams (£9.95) where all of the proceeds will go to Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Clinique, Estee Lauder and Bobbi Brown will all be creating makeup for the cause too, and Donna Karan is donating £2 per bottle of her Cashmere Mist Eau de Toilette Spray to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation for its research programme at the UK's Royal Marsden Institute of Cancer Research.

The last couple of days have been some of the most experimental of the week. If you've seen the makeup and hair at Marc Jacobs's runway show you know what I'm talking about. While I'm excited to see designers innovating, I'd also like to showcase looks that are achievable without a team of brilliant makeup artists present. 2010 Spring New York Fashion Week: Donna Karan

Upon entering the Donna Karan venue, you were put into a Zen state by loud, yet soothing, Annie Lennox music. My Zen was mildly interrupted by Milla Jovovich, in an awesome striped dress, who sat in the front row with Rachel Zoe and Elle's Joe Zee. These three were very chummy, cozy. But once the lights went down, the Zen returned. A Spring collection, as Donna's notes put it, "Inspired by the power of the elements - the sky, water, wind, sand, earth, and fire." Form-fitting crinkled pumice linen jackets and skirts gave way to blush-colored viscose stretch-matte jersey dresses and separates. A sky-blue gauze top and slip skirt were incredibly - sexy - sheer, light, and lovely. Fire was exemplified through fire coral shells, jackets, sleek pants, and the popular "envelope dress" - Karan made an airy envelope dress in almost every color. I wasn't keen on the hats, they distracted from the ingenuity of the clothes, but the teetering wedges and rubberized belts caught some complimentary looks. The white-jersey evening dress was unreal, and the fire-coral one (pictured) sent my heart a flutter.
