Dragons Den is all set to create another happy ending as the new perfume range, Scents of Time hits the shelves exclusively at John Lewis this month. With the backing of Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis, the range will be available at five key branches of the department store, nationwide from 9th October 2008.
Scents of Time is the brainchild of David Hunter Pybus, dubbed the "twenty-first century Indiana Jones of the fragrance world”.

The new series of Dragons' Den started on BBC2 last night, with a whole new batch of inspired (and sometimes deluded) entrepreneurs searching for funding. I love the banter between the Dragons, which makes it tricky for me to pick just one favourite. I'd love to know what you think, so tell me: out of James Caan, Deborah Meaden, Duncan Bannatyne, Theo Paphitis and Peter Jones, who is your favourite Dragon?

I don't know about you, but if I saw someone wearing this La Perla Dragon Bra (call for pricing info), I'd run . . .

At first glance, this looks like your everyday bearded dragon vid. Big whoop. But it's a tribute video to one cute reptile.

The idea for the Dragon speakers, designed by Joakim Axelsson, was to join a classical sculptural shape with the modern look of the raw speaker elements and create a new and interesting visual experience. According to Yanko Design, they are 32cm high and are made to fit in the bookshelf, by the tv, in the kitchen or in other small, but prominent spots. These speakers seems to go along the same trend of turning something practical into something more artistic, such as the elaborate cardboard speaker installations, which were created for a music festival in Switzerland.

I love when cats go into crouching tiger kitten, hidden dragon mode on little bugs. They don't want to kill them, necessarily, they just enjoy little scurrying things. (OK, maybe they want to eff with them a teensy bit.) His flexibility is quite impressive, I have to say.

The Queen's annual New Year Honours List has been announced today, with campaigners from ordinary walks of life and stars from the world of showbiz and sport receiving a range of accolades. Team GB's success in the Olympics this year has meant many sport stars have been included on the list: cyclist Chris Hoy is knighted for his three gold medals, and swimmer Rebecca Adlington becomes an OBE. Lewis Hamilton rounds off his fantastic year with an MBE.

You may not want to let your wee one play guitars and drive them old trucks quite yet, but there's no harm in dressing up your lil dogie in absurdly cute western wear.
The cowboy theme thermal onesie from Bees and Dragons ($51) is complete with horseshoe adorned feet and stitched stars along the backside. Who needs lil doctors and lawyer outfits when a get up like this will make the ranch girls shout, "Giddy up!"

Reality TV has a lot to answer for. It has left us with a lot of pointless celebrities and party hangers-on but it has also introduced some new design ideas. Who can forget Jon Tickle and his toaster, for example?
