Not only do I love Drew Barrymore for her bubbly personality, but I think it's great that she's not afraid to take beauty risks. Cover Girl seems to agree, since she's the spokesperson for its LashBlast mascara. We've seen her wear all different lipstick colors, and here are three images of her hair dyed a different shade from the past year alone. As a blonde, brunette, and redhead, it's as though Drew could single-handedly play all three characters from Charlie's Angels. Which is your favorite hair color on her?

How To Get Drew Barrymore's Bardot-Inspired Hair

At last night's Los Angeles premiere of Grey Gardens, actress Drew Barrymore walked the red carpet with her hair styled in sexy, wild Brigitte Bardot-inspired waves. She had in a faux-piece to create volume and length, and wore winged eyeliner, retro pink lipstick and a St. Tropez-esque boho chic Alberta Ferreti dress to complete the siren of the 60's look.

STEP 1: Wash and condition hair and apply a palmful of styling mousse to the lengths of the hair. Next, spritz in a generous amount of volumizer (with hold) such as Lanza Volume Root to the roots, and blow dry straight. Once hair is dry, set hair in rollers to create even more volume.
STEP 2: After leaving the rollers in for about 20 minutes (this is a great time to start on your makeup), gently take them out. Then shake your head upside down to loosen the curls and flip hair back up. At this time, carefully clip the crown of your hair together and secure your hairpiece or your extensions.
STEP 3: Now the fun begins! Using a soft brush, or a comb, tease the crown of your hair. Also, since we're going for mega volume, include a few pieces from the sides too.
STEP 4: Once you've teased your heart out, hold hair up in sections, spray your newly teased roots and hold until the spray dries (just a few seconds). Repeat until you're finished. Lastly, take a brush, and ever so gently, smooth hair back. Finish by finger coming the curls and mist your entire head with hairspray.

Next week, He's Just Not That Into You arrives in theaters, and we recently had a quick chat with Drew Barrymore - a beauty chameleon if one ever existed.

Remember the buzz she created with this cotton-candy hairstyle at the Golden Globes? "I’m super inspired by the '60s," she said of the blond bouffant. "[People] like Ann-Margret, Sophia Loren, Marilyn Monroe, Sharon Tate, those women."

"But going platinum blonde wasn't just a whim," she adds. "I am constantly trying to reinvent myself, and because I’ve been working so much for the past few years on all these projects I have coming out this year, I sort of got lazy and wasn’t thinking - and no one was really looking at me, and it was great," she says of her decision to bleach. "That said, we only have a certain amount of time on this planet and I want to try everything. So get out of your safe zones, dive in, and have fun."

Drew Ditches the Black Tips

Most of you weren't loving Drew Barrymore's black tips when she debuted them earlier this month, but you have to hand it to the girl. She's definitely someone who can pull off the most extreme of styles. "This is the craziest look I've ever given her!" colorist Tracey Cunningham told InStyle. "I used clear foils and a stencil that I made out of paper to get everything to line up," she added. But, those distinctive black tips didn't last that long. At a press event yesterday for her new film, Whip It, the actress flaunted a shorter, all-blond cropped bob instead. This got me to thinking about my own fickle hair-color choices. I've had blond-streaked bangs one day, only to tint them intense red-violet the next. What about you? Do you tend to stick to one color, or are you more apt to switch it up?

Drew Barrymore showed off a dramatic bleach blond hairdo around LA earlier this weekend. She was almost unrecognizable thanks to the hair - not to mention those stiletto heels. We've been seeing a lot less of Drew these days since she broke up with Justin Long in July after their lengthy PDA fest. While she moved on and was quickly spotted playfully kissing Ed Westwick in NYC, rumor has it there's another new man in her life. Apparently she's been spotted getting cozy with Jason Segel in LA. Drew may be one of the many stars of He's Just Not That Into You, but that doesn't sound like a problem she has in her real life.

How-To: Drew Barrymore's Fine Tuned Makeup

To honour the occasion, Drew even matched her lips to the red carpet standing out in a beautiful purple gown paired with polished hair and smooth, flawless, even skin. FACE: Begin with a clean, exfoliated face and apply an anti-redness moisturiser. Next, blend a makeup primer all over and let it soak in for about one minute. When you're finished, apply your foundation with a brush or a sponge for the most even coverage possible followed by concealer. Then, dust a translucent powder over your face to set the foundation and buff it out well with fluffy brush for a natural finish.
CHEEKS: All you need is a touch of colour on the cheeks so that you don't look washed out. I recommend a winter rose or a warm peach (nothing too apricot) lightly swept over the apples of your cheeks and along the cheekbones.
EYES: Drew is a Cover Girl, and talk about easy breezy eyes - this look is super simple to create! Begin by tweezing and filling in your brows, as they will serve as a frame for your face. Then, curl your lashes and apply two coats of black mascara (false lashes are optional). When it's dry, blend a shimmery cream or powder champagne shadow from your lash line to your crease and blend well - fini!
LIPS: Since lips are the focus of this look, they are going to take more time to pefect than usual. However, don't be intimidated by a bright colour. Begin by using a reverse lip liner just outside the rim of your lips so that the colour doesn't bleed. Then, fill your lips in with red lipliner, red lipstick (use a lip brush for precision) and if desired, top off the look with a clear or sheer red gloss!
