The Last Station: See It or Skip It?

The Last Station is a historical drama about Leo Tolstoy with Christopher Plummer cast as the Russian author, and Helen Mirren as his wife. She premiered it at the Rome Film Festival last month. They are joined by Paul Giamatti, Kerry Condon, James McAvoy and his real-life wife Anne-Marie Duff in the beautiful looking film, which explores Tolstoy's attempt to balance his wealth with his desire to life without material objects. It's due out in the UK on 19 Feb. 2010, so check out the trailer and vote to let me know: will you see it or skip it?

Peter Denies Katie Begged For Reunion & Katie Gets Series 2

Katie Price has been busy since she left the jungle on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, and finally boarded a plane back to London yesterday.

Rumours have spread that she called her ex-husband Peter Andre after she left camp and begged him to take her back, admitting that she messed up. However, it's reported that Peter did not react well to the phone call, and a reunion is not on the cards.

Peter took to his Twitter today to deny that she begged him to take her back, saying, "This is not true...sorry."

Katie was originally due to stay in Australia until the end of the series, but she has managed to get out of that clause of her contract - perhaps since she's agreed to a second ITV2 series of What Katie Did Next, catching viewers up with what happens to her now she's left the jungle!

Kate Moss Kicks Back With Take That At Singstar Shindig!

Notting Hill was the place to be last night as London was treated to the launch of Take That's new Singstar karaoke game! Kate Moss, Pixie Geldof, Dionne Bromfield, Rachel Stevens and James Corden were among the fans that filled the venue to party and sing along with the boys as they played the game! The event was due to take place last month, but due to the sad death of Gary's father, it was postponed until last night. It certainly looks like everybody there had a fantastic time - will you be buying the game so you can test your singing skill with the boys' tracks? Let me know!

Are Facebook Photos Fair Game For Insurance Companies?

I just came across a story about a woman in Canada who lost insurance benefits because of a photo posted on Facebook. The woman was on medical leave from her job due to severe depression, and was receiving monthly disability payments from an insurance company. After she stopped receiving payments, she called her insurance company, who told her that she should be available to work because of photos she posted on Facebook that showed her looking happy and having a good time - hardly experiencing the crippling depression that kept her from going to work.

After the case started making headlines, the woman's insurance company issued a statement saying they would not terminate a policy based solely on something posted on Facebook; it remains to be seen whether or not the woman in question will be allowed to once again receive benefits.

I've heard countless stories of people being fired or getting into serious trouble for things they posted on Facebook, and even came up with a list of suggestions for how not to get in trouble on the site, but this case seems a bit extreme. What do you think?

The couple, who married two years ago, are said to be "ecstatic and thrilled". With Jessica three months pregnant, the baby is due next Summer. Congratulations to the growing family!

Eva Rallies Engines in Her Bikini For a Good Cause

Eva Longoria kept her bikini body under wraps over the weekend as she hit the beach in Miami. She joined friends at the Eden Roc Renaissance hotel in a sparkly two-piece, though she kept her famous figure covered with either a towel or her long-sleeved shirt. Eva was in Miami for Saturday's ''Rally For Kids With Cancer," which saw the actress don a variety of funny outfits to entertain children during the philanthropic event. We didn't get our usual dose of Eva as Gaby Solis on Desperate Housewives last night due to the American Music Awards, but next week's episode looks like it can't be missed.

John Mayer Adds More Sex to His To-Do Lists

John Mayer stopped to greet a fan as he strolled along the streets of NYC on Saturday. He wasn't able to be in LA for last night's American Music Awards, as he had a few shows in the Big Apple over the last week and is due to take his Battle Studies promotional tour to Canada tomorrow. John has been doing a fair share of press for his new album and spoke recently with The New York Times about his record as well as his ladies' man status. Here's more:

On dating: "I should be having sex with more girls. It’s crazy to me that in my head, that being 32 and dating women is going to get me in trouble. I can’t even explain to you how terrible that feels, that I equate dating a woman with punishment, shame, guilt, disappointment, reproach, reprimand, persecution. It’s a nightmare."
On taking musical risks: "There’s nothing I’ve done musically that’s been a wild misstep. Basically, you’re saying, can you risk failure? And that’s something that I’m struggling with right now, because in my life, I would like to do something in music that risks a misstep."
On letting personal relationships take over his music: "What is the odd man out - is it the record or the coverage? I’m not going to let it be the record. I think if you’re listening to Battle Studies and you think it’s a record about high-profile relationships, I haven’t done a good enough job."

Robert Pattinson Celebrates a Certifiably Big Weekend

Robert Pattinson hung around NYC after working hard to promote New Moon last week. He was able to join friends yesterday for dinner at Megu, and he was spotted on his way out in his usual jeans and sneakers. Robert's due for a little time off now that the film is a major hit - it broke the midnight screening record, had the biggest single day gross ever and went on to enjoy the third biggest opening weekend in history behind The Dark Knight and Spider-man 3. Robert also grabbed food with pals, including Kristen Stewart, on Friday night, but soon he'll be switching gears as he preps to star in Bel Ami with Uma Thurman.
