Ed Westwick hosted a party for the opening of artist Todd DiCiurcio's "Heartstrings" exhibition at the Confederacy store in Los Angeles on Saturday night. He was joined on his trip to the West Coat by Jessica Szohr and their fellow Gossip Girl star Hilary Duff, and the trio looked like they enjoyed some time off from filming scenes in New York. Ashley Greene also looked thrilled to hang out before heading to the U2 concert on Sunday night.

Ashley Green and Kellan Lutz flew from Canada to LA on Saturday, which meant they missed out on the "almost wrap" party at the Vancouver aquarium that night. Most of the cast is done shooting Eclipse, but apparently there are a few scenes left to go. Kellan wasn't traveling with the doggy companion he so lovingly spoke about in a recent issue of Doggie Aficionado, but Kellan and Ashley did hug for the cameras before heading through security.

Hilary Duff, Ed Westwick, Jessica Szohr and Taylor Momsen were back to work on Gossip Girl Tuesday after most of them hit the red carpet together to support Penn Badgley's new thriller The Stepfather. Leighton Meester missed the premiere, but was out yesterday to debut her new song "Somebody to Love" all over the airwaves. Blair Waldorf has her somebody to love, but next week we'll see what happens with a certain Chuck Bass kiss — maybe it will even give us a clue as to who's involved in the mysterious upcoming threesome.

Meanwhile his costar and real life girlfriend Blake Lively looked lovely in white, while Taylor Momsen brought some rock chick style to the event with her bleached hair and dark red lipstick.

He was treated to a birthday cake, or cupcakes, each featuring "HB ED" on top of them — mmmm!

We caught sight of Penn Badgley, Blake Lively and Taylor Momsen filming the new series of Gossip Girl earlier in the week, and here's a few peeks at gorgeous Ed Westwick, Leighton Meester and Jessica Szohr shooting some scenes too! Laughter certainly seemed to be in the air, as Ed and Leighton chuckled and waved at people watching in the building across from where they were rehearsing. Ed had a steamy plotline on Gossip Girl, but in real life things aren't so mysterious anymore. We heard rumors about these two back in December and saw them out with Chace last Thursday, but these photos of them cuddling up, laughing, and drinking beer confirm it.
