Ellen Works Out and Gets Back to Work as Meredith Grey

Ellen Pompeo spent some time away from baby Stella to take a yoga class in LA yesterday. She stayed fit all through her pregnancy so it's not a surprise that she's already back to working out. The new mom will also be back to work on Grey's Anatomy soon so Seattle Grace won't be without Meredith for a single episode. How Long Did You Wait to Party Postpartum?

It's one thing to make a coffee run so soon after having baby and quite another to doll up for a night on the town. A newborn rarely allows mommy to step away from the bassinet for longer than two hours at a time, and many mums are simply sleep deprived, which makes dressing up for a swanky soiree a low priority on the to-do list. But there's always someone out there that there that deviates from the norm.

Ellen Pompeo and hubby Chris Ivery just welcomed their wee daughter Stella on Sept. 15 and already the svelte mama was paparazzi ready at David Beckham's Originals by Originals Adidas. She rocked the blue carpet and made postpartum life look all too easy. It appears the glow of her pregnancy has carried over into motherhood for the blessed new mommy.

Post-Baby Ellen Parties With the Original Beckhams

A casual but hot David Beckham had a glamorous Victoria by his side at his Originals by Originals Adidas collection launch in LA yesterday. The couple's friends Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery came to the celebration as she made her first post-baby debut only two weeks after giving birth to Stella. The actress said she feels like "the luckiest girl in the world" and is enjoying her maternity leave, although we'll still get to see her as Meredith in tonight's Grey's Anatomy. Meanwhile David is expected back on the soccer field tomorrow, and it's a home game, which means Posh can bring the boys to cheer on their dad.

Ellen Pompeo Isn't the Only Grey's Girl With a Baby Coming

Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery stepped out for smoothies at the Urth Cafe and some shopping in LA yesterday. While some troubling rumors about Chris were making the rounds, the duo didn't let it get in the way of their day. Ellen doesn't have too much longer to wait before her first baby is here, and some of her Grey's Anatomy castmates have some good news to celebrate too. Eric Dane's wife Rebecca Gayheart is reportedly pregnant, and Katherine Heigl and her husband Josh Kelley are in the process of adopting a baby girl from Korea! Great Anatomy: Pregnant Ellen Pompeo Is Fit and Fabulous

On-screen and off, actress Ellen Pompeo has always been understated in her fashion and beauty choices that made her more attractive in my eyes. Before pregnancy, her thin frame and natural look created the perfect canvas for fashion forward looks, but her new curves have added an extra glow and style to her existence. Looking better than ever, the mama-to-be is even making my girl Fab look forward to pregnancy... now that's sayin' something!

In lieu of frumpy frocks, the Grey's Anatomy star often chooses both frame fitting and flowy black dresses and tunics and accents them with Grecian sandals and gold laden hobo bags. When she's not working out in her spandex, she rocks tie-dye dresses and moccasin boots for a casual look. A maternity role model to expectant ladies, I'm sure her mini me will be sportin' some pretty stinkin' cute threads, too!

Katherine Heigl Hosted a Fabulous Baby Fete For Ellen Pompeo

It was no breakroom baby shower for Ellen Pompeo! The Grey's Anatomy star, who is expecting a baby girl in October, was feted by her friends and castmates with a backyard party at her costar Katherine Heigl's home on Saturday. According to reports, the expectant mama received a bounty of gifts, including "a Sleep Sheep toy mobile, Sleepy Safari stacking toys, organic hooded towels and a Kiddopotamus organic swaddle wrap," but none of the items from our recent favorite finds. Other guests included Kate Walsh, Sandra Oh, and Rebecca Gayheart. Who hosted your baby shower?
