Eva Announces Herself, Penelope, and Javier as ALMA Noms
Eva Longoria was dolled up yesterday to announce the 2009 ALMA Award nominees at Beso in LA. She's set to host the event with George Lopez on September 17, and Eva is even in the running for Best Comedy Actress. Other honorees include Salma Hayek, America Ferrera, and Cameron Diaz along with all-star couple Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem.

Desperate Housewives star and successful restaurateur Eva Longoria is taking her eatery national. Longoria opened Beso, a Mexican restaurant in Hollywood, with chef Todd English back in 2007. The popular joint quickly became a celebrity hangout.

Eva Longoria grabbed a bite to eat with her girlfriends at Cafe Med in LA yesterday. She's all about food these days, having recently announced she'll open a branch of her restaurant Beso in Las Vegas on New Year's. This Sunday Desperate Housewives is back after a two-week break, and apparently we can expect a little boot camp for Gabby as she gets back into shape.
