A few months back, I started using Latisse, the drug approved to make your eyelashes longer and thicker. I reported on it for a few weeks, but then dropped off — for which I apologize — and later quit using it. Why did I go through all the trouble of going to my dermatologist, spending hundreds of dollars on the product, and reporting on it to then just quit?

For one of us, it was the best of times, for the other, it was the worst of times. (Well, not that bad.) Two members from Team Bella had two very different experiences after trying the new Stay Don't Stray ($24), the new paraben-free multitasking primer from Benefit. This moisturizing pre-makeup, which also includes vitamins C and E, is applied on both the under-eye area and lids to give concealers and eye shadows long-lasting, crease-free results.

By now, you've probably heard me sing the praises of wearing a sexy red lipstick, from how to chose a shade to creating a trendy version of this old-Hollywood look. At a Las Vegas event last night, Whitney Port showed off her own interpretation of a crimson-toned lip, complementing her lacy white dress with both deep- and light-toned makeup choices. Typically, we're used to seeing white shadows used under the brow to lift or along the inner Vs to create an eye-awakening effect, but not in this case, as Whitney's icy white shadow on the lids lends a beautiful contrast between the darkness of her black winged-out liner and matte red lips.

Art imitates life for Jenna Elfman. Her character on Accidentally on Purpose is expecting, and so is Jenna. With this cool-toned eye makeup look, which Jenna wore on last night's Late Show With David Letterman, she proves that this hot mama is willing to wear some daring styles.

By now, you probably know that based on the color wheel, there are certain eye shadows that make each eye color pop. Purple, for instance, is great for green-eyed girls, while bronze looks lovely on those with blue eyes. Brown-eyed beauties, however, are the luckiest of the bunch, as most shades look great on them.

When it comes to applying your makeup, what area do you find to be the trickiest? If you're like me, it's all about the eye area. While I love trying trendy shades and techniques, sometimes I just want a quick and easy routine.

I have friends who seem to be made of steel, and while they do get a good cry in every now and then, it's a rare occasion. I, however, am a little more sensitive. When the urge strikes, it's too hard for me to hold back those tears.

Blue might just be having a moment. From oceanic polish colors to recent avant-garde looks we saw on the runway in New York, perhaps there is a slight resurgence of the cool-toned shade as of late. Do you think that blue is cool but don't want to run the risk of looking totally '80s?

Makeup artist Yvette Beebe knows how to make a rock star look even more rockin', and she's styled every sexy songstress from Shakira to Janet Jackson. Right now, she's on tour with Pink, and I'm digging the frosted, wide-open eye she's been wearing. I got the scoop from Beebe on how to create the look, and what products she uses to make it last through a million costume changes, the heat from stage lights, and Pink's impressive stage choreography.
