American Apparel has one-uped itself when it comes to soliciting outrage. A new campaign asks women to upload pictures of their asses, no face necessary, so the world can rate and comment on them. After the Internet weighs in, AA judges will crown "the best bottom in the world."

I stuck with Project Runway for at least two of Heidi's pregnancies, so I know enough about fashion to criticize it but not enough to thread a spool. I know avant-garde fashion is hyperbolic and theatrical; it's meant to inspire. Yet I hope — and am overly confident — these 20 looks from Berlin and Milan Fashion Week will stay off the streets, inspiring nothing but a safe and swift return to jeans and sweaters.

I love looking at pictures of my mom from the '70s. She was always decked in bell-bottoms, platform shoes, and a top that could only be terry cloth. She definitely had it going on!

Whoever is in charge of clothes (and clearly someone is — sartorial chair?) at Cornell University's chapter of Pi Beta Phi has put together this crystal clear list about what can and can't worn to Spring Rush. Any questions? OK, call her if you think of any or just wait until she comes around to inspect everyone's outfits.

Labels and love, that's what it's all about. Well, according to Fergie, anyway. If you've got a fashion hound in your midst (or have willingly become a slave to your favorite designer), have no fear — you can still geek out with your gadgets and look good doing it.

Check out this cool trend alert from the OnSugar blog DHo Style.
The term "painter's jeans" has got a whole new meaning this season. Big denim brands such as J Brand, Paige Premium Denim, and 7 For All Mankind have been embracing the paint-splattered look on their jean selections. While this is a great DIY project, these brands have taken the time to give their denim a whole new makeover. Although the paint splats are tricky to pull off, I'm totally digging the more subtle paint detail. Would you wear this trend?

Beyonce is no stranger to the Nintendo DS — last year she professed her love for the portable console and the beat-based game Rhythm Heaven. Now the superstar is lending her sense of fashion to the gaming world as she partners with Style Savvy to bring five new designs from her House of Deréon collection to virtual fashion boutiques. Players can choose between 16 different designer labels (adding up to 10,000 items) to stock their virtual shelves, and soon, anyone with an Internet connection can add five items from Beyonce's label to their stores (pieces from Charlotte Ronson's collection are already available to download).

V Magazine's upcoming issue sets out to prove that fashion can flatter any figure. The magazine attempts this by pitting a "plus-sized" model and a sample-sized model against each other, even offering each model's measurements — Jacquelyn comes in at 5'9'' 32/24/34 and Crystal at 5'9'' 36/31/41. The women are shot wearing the same fabulous frocks and it's hard to argue that they both don't look fierce.

Deep v-neck shirts may make our top 10 worst male fashion offenses, but metrosexual men care not. They've now bared enough chest to create a new word: heavage. It's everything you fear — man cleavage, or when a low-cut or unbuttoned shirt reveals chest hair and pecs.
