"I know so many women that have done the procedure and feel better about themselves and the way they present themselves. And I think that the question is, whether or not, when you're looking at that procedure as an option, am I going to feel better about myself? It's not about one night.

My supervisor recently confronted me about an email that circulated the office. It was written by one of our clients complaining about this supervisor. When I denied distributing it, I was told that this subject would be dropped if I would give the name of the person who did circulate the note.

I recently got laid off and am happy to report that I've had many job interviews over the last several weeks. I've already received one offer and hope that more are on their way. The problem I'm facing is that I've just discovered that I am five weeks pregnant.

Dear Savvy,
I'm lucky enough to have found a job after being laid off from my old one, and I've been working at my new company for about three months. I really like the people and the place, but I'm already bored with the job itself! I obviously don't want to look for another job after being unemployed for months and the company is in the industry where I see my career growing.

To help kids better understand the recession, Sesame Street will air a one hour special next week called Families Stand Together: Feeling Secure in Tough Times. The show stars Al Roker and Deborah Roberts, as well as personal finance and parenting experts to discuss strategies for maintaining children's well-being during hardships.
