Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. have welcomed a new baby daughter! Sarah gave birth to their first child this weekend in Los Angeles, and the couple have named her Charlotte Grace Prinze.
Sarah's rep said that she and Freddie are "over the moon."

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. are new parents! SMG gave birth to a baby girl, Charlotte Grace Prinze, on Saturday in LA. The happy couple have been married since 2002, and Sarah announced her pregnancy back in April.
TV News: Casting, Recasting, and Some Dream Casting
We now mostly know what shows will be on our TVs come Fall — but who will be starring in them? After pilot season comes a flurry of casting and recasting, as actors whose shows didn't get picked up look for work and networks change up the lineups on some of the forthcoming series. Today, there's word of a big casting, some recastings, and Joss Whedon's dream casting:
- The casting: Freddie Prinze Jr.'s ABC comedy pilot wasn't picked up, but the actor didn't have to wait long for a job: He's joining the cast of 24 as a Marine who dreams of becoming a sort of Jack Bauer Jr. He joins a growing number of new cast members for the season, including Anil Kapoor, John Boyd, Chris Diamantopoulos, and Jennifer Westfeldt.
- The recastings: A few pilots-turned-series are already searching for replacements for their lead actors.
Freddie Pays a Visit to His Working Woman SMG
Sarah Michelle Gellar was still hard at work filming her new show The Wonderful Maladys in NYC yesterday and today, but she managed to fit in a break to spend a little quality time with her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr. The parents-to-be looked happy in each other's company as they explored the set together. The wardrobe department is doing a good job of covering up SMG's growing baby bump so far but there's no hiding that unmistakable glow.

Sarah Michelle Gellar and her husband Freddie Prinze Jr are expecting their first child! The couple have been married since 2003 and their spokesman said "They're very excited" about the expected new addition to the family, who will arrive in the autumn.
Both Freddie and Sarah have new TV shows in the works to air around the same time they're expecting their baby, with Freddie starring in an American version of the ITV series No Heroics and Sarah starring in new HBO show The Wonderful Maladays.

Prinze's role is Bradley (superhero name: Ultimatum), the tormenter of the B-list squad's leader: "An A-list superhero, Bradley is a handsome, cocky and egotistical Alpha male who has all the women and fame and money a guy could want."
