After the holiday break the stars were spotted on set ready to work. The girls and guys of Gossip Girl and Desperate Housewives got back to business on opposite coasts, while Cher and Christina Aguilera started filming Burlesque in NYC. Mariska Hargitay was also joined by special guest Kathy Griffin.

Diane Kruger joined Joshua Jackson yesterday on the Vancouver set of Fringe. The sexy couple broke out their swimsuits during a Mexican vacation just a few weeks ago, but this time they were in warm coats to brave the Canadian Winter weather. Josh and Diane cozied up to scan a script together before it was actually Diane who stepped in front of the camera to film a cameo for her boyfriend's show — wonder if the red carpet queen gets to play something gruesome like she wanted?

Last night at a Benefit For The Whaleman Foundation in Los Angeles, actress Hayden Panettiere walked the red carpet with pin straight hair and wispy fringe. It's nice to see her supporting a cause that we know she's passionate about, and I love it when celebrities use their status to do good.
