Anna Friel looked very colourful last night as she headed out on the town. She wore a multi coloured tassled frock with blue flower detail heels and accessorised with a jewelled clutch. There is a lot of colour here, but some how I think she manages to pull it off.

A hint of fringe and leather goes a long way. I'm digging the instant edge it lends to Bellakoko's florals — cross-body fringe is a no-fail way to add flair. Plus, she tops with aviators — making the whole thing oh-so young Hollywood.

Don't mind the missing face on this model, focus on the frock. This Urban Outfitters Silence & Noise Lace Fringe Tank Dress ($60, originally $98) reminds me of the Rodarte dress Natalie Portman wore to the Venice Film Festival. I heart the swaying fringes and dropped waistline.

As fashion begins to return to the world of elegance and glamour we see the emergence of fringe detailing. This delicate addition to tops, dresses and accessories adds texture and movement. It featured on the catwalk at Chanel and Jaeger but also at Gareth Pugh where (never one to do things by halves) he used actual hair.

Join me in congratulating MyOwnLittleWorld on her first Look of the Day. She might think her outfit is nothing special, but I beg to differ. Notice how she adorns her sweater dress with a fierce fringe scarf.

The nonstop precipitation has me in a bit of a funk, but natural born styler brightened up my day. Her rainproof ensemble makes me want to start singin' in the rain. She refrained from featuring the per-usual rain jacket and galoshes, and, instead, chose a pair of patent boots, skinny trousers, Lichtenstein sweater, and fringe poncho complete with a clear, kitschy umbrella!

Isabel Marant — a Fab obsession — opted for more detail, more color, and more leg for Spring. Per usual, I adore everything, minus the camouflage boots. Marant delivered an eclectic chic mix of frilly skirts and dresses, sumptuous tweed, cool prints, girlie ruffles, city shorts, hot hot pink, and sweet turquoise.

Last week at London Fashion Week, I was milling around backstage with BellaSugar UK who was getting the scoop on the hair looks for the William Tempest show when I bumped in to the man himself. I grabbed him for a quick chat about his latest collection and was pleasantly surprised to find him acting calm and looking very together.
The young designer missed out on Fashion Fringe in 2008, but did manage to bag himself a Vauxhall Fashion Scout sponsorship ensuring him a place on the schedule for three seasons.

This time last year, Eun Jeong was crowned the winner of Fashion Fringe 2008 as her label Go By a Secret Path beat off competition from the likes of William Tempest to receive support from some of the industries biggest names. She received £100,000 as financial support towards her label and today she appeared on the main London catwalk.
The line was entirely cream, white and silver using soft, delicate fabrics like lace and silk.

I have completely fallen for the gorgeous colour palette at Proenza Schouler where tropical blues and greens were the order of the day. There were plenty of fun dresses in neon shades adorned with fringing and feathers. The bright shades were contrasted against beach blonde hair.
