Today's the big day, and hopefully you've done all the shopping, prepping, and planning ahead that you can. Since you might be spending a lot of time in the kitchen, I suggest you take a short break to talk some turkey.

Because Thanksgiving's the biggest food holiday, I was able to find plenty of interesting facts out there about the shining star of the feast: the big ol' bird. Website of the Day: Learn Something New Every Day

I've already confessed my love for mood-boosting sites and sites that deliver daily doses of awesomeness, so it's natural that I'm loving this site from the UK, Learn Something Every Day.

Each day features a new fun fact illustrated on a bright background. For example: "The film Titanic cost more than the Titanic itself," and, "Penguins are able to jump two meters high."

You can submit your own fun facts to the site, too. They doesn't make a claim to validate each fact selected, though most seem believable - I just love the site's simple design, bright colors, and entertainment value. Plus, who doesn't like amassing random fun facts to impress your friends?

Ashley, Nikki and Kellan Do Their New Moon Work Too

Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz were spread out yesterday on the New Moon promotional trail. Nikki Reed wore a sexy short dress to stop by and chat with Alexa Chung on her show while Ashley Greene popped by Regis and Kelly where Kristen Stewart also made an appearance. Kellan was still hanging out in LA, but he was headed to NYC to join the rest of the cast before tomorrow's big release! Robert and Kristen have been taking on many of the interviews as well as the rumors, and the movie already has some celebrity fans like Jennie Garth. There are more TV appearances lined up for the cast and if you're looking for some fun take this quiz to brush up on your New Moon trivia.

Play the Twilight Movie Game on Your Cell Phone

Counting down the days until the release of New Moon? Me too! Thankfully there are fun Twilight-inspired games to keep you entertained before the big day. I've already talked about the interactive Twilight Tracker app, but there's now a new game from Summit Entertainment and RealArcade for AT&T cell phone owners called the Twilight Mobile Game.

This new game can be downloaded on any AT&T handset (all wireless carriers will be available in the next few weeks) from here and includes hundreds of trivia questions from the movie. Unfortunately the game isn't free (costs between $7-$10 depending on your cell phone), so maybe the cheaper $3 Twilight Tracker iPhone app is a better option for those on a budget. Wikipedia Recruiting Community Managers to Monitor Content

Although I reference Wiki on a regular basis for fun facts and trivia, I know that anyone can contribute information, which leaves me at a high risk of quoting inaccuracies. But yesterday, Wikipedia announced that they will be rounding up trusted users to create a pool of volunteer community managers, who will approve data before it's published.

But Wiki won't be covering all its bases - the rule will only apply to submissions on living people. So you can still offer up your insider knowledge on the subplots of BSG (if you are so inclined), but you can't just start publishing deets on Ashton Kutcher without getting it approved. Wiki is hoping that this will curb the amount of false data and keep the site clean, while others think that the extra step shouldn't be necessary. What do you think of the new Wiki rules?
