Leigh Lezark, Diane Kruger and Blake Lively were among the guests at the Chanel Fete d'Hiver benefit in New York last night, all looking stunning in their gowns. The blonde Gossip Girl star is on the front of a couple of magazines at the moment, in Nylon she's looking funky in checks, and on the US Marie Claire cover she's showing some skin! Here's some extracts from her interview:
- On acting:"As a character, I get to be this wild, outgoing person that I’m so not.

Recently, I made my yearly — OK, it's been more than a year — trip to the eye doctor. I've worn glasses for about 14 years now, and from one "trendy" frame to another, I've had lots of different looks. Since some were good, and others I'd prefer to forget, that was the inspiration behind this series of posts on choosing eyeglass frames.

We caught a sneak peek at Kristen Stewart shooting the November cover of Allure back in July at the Santa Monica Pier, and the issue is finally about to hit newsstands. It's yet another cover after her recent appearance in Interview as she makes the rounds to discuss her latest film in the Twilight series. She sat down to chat all about her personality, what sets the movies apart from all the other vampire stories, and even Robert Pattinson.

Over the past few days at Paris Fashion Week, Rihanna has managed to wear her blond-streaked hair in a stunning number of permutations, from hair-raisingly high last Thursday to cool kid side-parted bangs yesterday. She always looks bleeding-edge cool, but which of these funky looks do you think suits her best?

Isn't trend spotting so much fun? So far we've seen five distinct hair and makeup looks from the big apple that range from colourful lipstick to 80's style crimped hair to low slung plaits. Today things get a little more wild with some funky eye makeup looks that makeup artists and designers must have had a ball collaborating on.

New York designer Jeremy Scott opened the final day of London Fashion Week for Spring 2010. The show was a real pick me up with bright colours, funky music and the craziest beauty looks I've seen all week. The line was heavily inspired by the stone age, or more specifically The Flintstones with cartoonish animal prints, jagged hemlines and a bright neon colour palette.

Jordana Brewster stole the show last night at the ALMA Awards in LA in a bright citron maxi dress by Reem Acra. The almost neon hue looks amazing against her skin tone, and I adore her funky accessories. The stacked bangles and statement ring bring an exotic element to her ensemble, while a box clutch brings in sleekness.

There's a story in The New York Times about young men who're styling their hair in wild, wacky ways. The piece suggests that "Generation Y" guys, like Adam Lambert of American Idol fame, are more inclined to experiment with their hair and see it less as a mark of cultural affiliation (like "I'm a hippie" or "I'm a punk") than as a style statement. It also features several pictures of college guys and men in their mid-20s with funky hair.

Funny girl Leslie Mann graced the red carpet at the LA premiere of Shorts wearing an abstract print dress by Oscar de la Renta and Christian Louboutin Bianca python pumps. We don't see enough celebs donning green and Leslie works it to perfection. The vibrant color complements the strawberry hues in her hair and it also looks amazing against her skin tone.

Picking up a toddler in a fancy dress may not sound too practical, but it's a way of life for some mommies. Mothers who delight in running around social circles put up the appearance that there is always time for a blow-out and a pair of swanky shoes. Picture perfect, the mum can be inspiration to run a comb through that matted hair before hitting the carpool line — a school year's resolution to be sure!
