While there are a million DON'Ts involved in parenting, the ones that are shown in this slideshow are pretty obvious. I have to warn you, viewing these illustrations may require a tissue as they are absolutely hysterical and will likely bring you to tears.

A recent survey released by Retrevo (an electronics shopping site) comparing iPhone and Blackberry users paints an interesting picture. The respondents are 445 iPhone and BlackBerry owners distributed across gender, age, income, and location in the US. Highlights include:
- 35 percent of iPhone users would be turned off by a date with outdated gadgets.
- iPhone owners use their phones more — they claim to consume more adult content, videos, news, and sports scores.
- iPhone owners text more often than BlackBerry users.
- iPhone owners claim to be more extroverted, bigger jocks, and more intellectual.
I use both a BlackBerry and an iPhone, so I'm not sure how I feel about the results of the survey.

Ahh, memories! It sure has been a while since I've been confronted with the notorious blue screen of death error screen, which often appears when a Microsoft Windows system goes kaput. Let's just say that when you see this screen, it's not good news.

Ask Men recently called in a woman to answer the pressing question: what feminist demands do women want men to ignore?
The list the "relationship correspondent" came up with is awesomely and unintentionally funny, as is the accompanying article. Of course, the writer points out that she's not talking about "the stereotypical, garden-variety, hairy-armpit feminist."

I so wanted The Box to be a worthy successor to Donnie Darko, director Richard Kelly's first film and much-appreciated cult fave. Unfortunately, I didn't exactly get my wish.
The Box is a highly stylized, good-looking thriller, from the retro 1976 Virginia setting to the Barbie and Ken looks of leads Cameron Diaz and James Marsden.

- Isla Fisher's name is floating around for a new comedy titled Desperados. The story follows a woman who sends a nasty email to the new guy she's seeing after he goes MIA. after they have sex.

I knew it was going to be hard to top the koi pond incident (and those Halloween costumes), but I was glad to see this week's The Office return to the storyline with new paramours Michael and Helene. This time, Pam is actually coming around to the idea of her mother dating her boss, but per his usual protocol, Michael is ready with a few blunders to messy things up. We also had a friendly competition between Andy and Dwight and — naked photos?

I went into The Men Who Stare at Goats with high expectations. How could a film possibly disappoint when you have the acting trifecta of George Clooney, Ewan McGregor, and Jeff Bridges? But unfortunately, while the pros work hard to generate laughs — and they do deliver at times — the film on the whole is all over the place.

If you are fan of Anthony Edwards, get excited. The actor is returning to TV in a new five-hour NBC television special. You may have even heard of the much-anticipated program — it's a little something called the New York City Marathon.

Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol is, quite literally, a tale as old as time. Hollywood has already turned the novel into countless films, so how do you keep it fresh to entertain old and young audiences alike? You give them a pair of 3-D glasses.
