It's come to this: the new dating discrimination is based on a potential suitor's gaming hardcore-ness. That's what this hilariously geeky video from College Humor would have you believe anyway — a girl brings her n00b boyfriend home to her patrician l33t parents and geek intolerance ensues over her less-than-ideal choice.
Watch it for yourself, but I can't resist a couple spoilers, especially my favorite line: "You're a l33t dammit, we don't date n00bs, we pwn them!"

Well, I guess Adam Sandler is ready to go back to his old tricks after playing it straight in Funny People: the actor has signed on to play both Jack and Jill in the upcoming romantic comedy called — you guessed it — Jack and Jill. The movie will be produced by Sandler's company, Happy Madison.
The image of Adam Sandler as a woman is already giving me a bad taste in my mouth about this project.

I love a guy with a sense of humor, and it turns out I'm not the only one that falls for the jokester. A recent study conducted by psychologist Kristofor McCarty found that funny guys get the girls because humor makes men seem "more intelligent, trustworthy — and a better bet for a relationship." Of course hilarity makes everything else more fun, but tell me, is a funny guy a must for you, too?

Some people have a dry sense of humor, some are animated and loud. I can't really say I have a type, but like art, I know it when I see it. And you can see from my IM exchange with a friend up there about a mutual acquaintance, I don't like when you can tell someone's trying hard to be funny.

Protect Insurance Companies PSA from Will Ferrell
Just when you thought it was impossible to make the country's debate about health care exciting, sexy Jon Hamm throws himself into the fray. The mad man is one of many celebrities starring in a new Funny of Die video that spoofs all the healthcare PSAs dominating the airwaves. Will Ferrell, Donald Faison, and Olivia Wilde join Jon in sarcastically asking "why is Obama trying to reform health care when insurance companies are doing just fine making billions of dollars in profit?"

It's "Boring Week" over at Everything Is Terrible, and they dug up a video described on YouTube as "the most boring video in the world." In it, a representative for Magellan travel products shows a couple how to pack. Your eyes may glaze over as quickly as theirs do as the mind-numbingly boring speaker expounds on a mind-numbingly boring topic.

Tina Fey waved to fans as she headed into The Late Show studios last night in NYC. She's out making the rounds to promote 30 Rock's fourth season, which kicks off tonight with another Steve Buscemi cameo! Tina was hilarious, as usual, as she and Dave discussed what it takes to get her ready for a magazine cover shoot and being a late bloomer who didn't lose her virginity until she was 24.

Ask Men recently called in a woman to answer the pressing question: what feminist demands do women want men to ignore?
The list the "relationship correspondent" came up with is awesomely and unintentionally funny, as is the accompanying article. Of course, the writer points out that she's not talking about "the stereotypical, garden-variety, hairy-armpit feminist."
