Robert and Kristen Are Reunited at Comic-Con!

After spending time apart in recent months filming different movies, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were reunited yesterday! They were joined by costar Taylor Lautner for the New Moon press conference at Comic-Con in San Diego. Robert has been hard at work on Remember Me in New York, so he had to fly from coast to coast and get in to Twilight mode: check out exclusive footage of Rob at JFK over at our new daily show, PopSugar Rush. Our US editors got to attend the press conference in person and saw two new clips from the film - so jealous! The actors chatted about their characters and the fan response, and Rob said he'd consider comedic roles, but added: "I don't know if I'm particularly funny. One of my legs is shorter than the other one, so it makes everything look awkward. I can look like an idiot, but I don't know if I can be witty." For a self-proclaimed awkward idiot, Rob's not doing too badly!

New Moon Takes Comic-Con by Storm

After waiting in line for three hours, we finally made it into the New Moon panel at Comic-Con! It was definitely worth the wait, and Rob, Kristen, Taylor, and Ashley were rewarded with plenty of screams and shrieks from their waiting fans. We got to check out two new clips from the movie - in the first, Kristen's character Bella rides a motorcycle for the first time (though she assured us she didn't do her own stunts). The second was the big moment you've all been waiting for - that's right, the shirtless Pattinson scene in Italy! Believe us, you will not be disappointed. Rob was adorable as he showed off a wide range of facial expressions when answering questions from fans, while Taylor seemed to eat up all the attention. Here are a few other highlights from the Q&A:

Rob on how shooting New Moon was different from Twilight: "It was different doing this because of the aesthetic which Kris shows. Edward's whole character is obviously about restraint. I found it difficult to incorporate movement into the character. In New Moon, a lot of the shots are set up for as little movement as possible which helped. It was always camera movements that drove scenes . . . and now I'm making it sound like I just stood there."
Taylor on whether or not he's like Jacob: "I'm more like Jacob's pretransformation side. Because that's before he goes wacko. I hope I'm more friendly and outgoing than this dark disturbed person, this monster. Actually, I don't think he's a monster."

Rob on whether or not playing Edward has changed him: "At the end of the day, it's just a part, you're going to do it. You're walking down the street . . . this is a really bad analogy . . . you step on a little stone, you don't know where it's going and you're trying not to drown afterwards. That was really terrible wasn't it?"
Kristen on how Bella changed from Twilight to New Moon: "I don't think you really truly know yourself until you get to a point as low as this. She's so sort of righteous in the first one. Now you believe that she knows what she wants. And I feel like in the third one, she's content and happy and can rest easy. In this one, it was a larger scale for me - I played an insane person."
Rob on whether or not he'd like to do more comedic roles like How to Be: "Why not? But I don't know if I'm particularly funny. One of my legs is shorter than the other one, so it makes everything look awkward. I can look like an idiot, but I don't know if I can be witty."
Taylor on filming in Portland vs. Vancouver: "Both are cold and wet. I mean they're beautiful, but it's just not fun not wearing any clothes there."

Brad Pitt Has a Bounty on His Head and a Wild Past

Brad Pitt popped into Larry King Live last night for an interview via satellite, and while the focus was on Benjamin Button and his Make it Right program, there were questions about his family, Obama's election, and current events. Here are some highlights:

On why people are interested in his family: "I've stopped thinking about it, really. I mean, I don't know. There are certainly people I'm interested in. It's quite complimentary. But, you know - and I think it is an interesting family. It's not your usual family. I'm quite interested in my family actually. I certainly don't see it as anything less than a compliment."
On being a father of six: "No, man, it wears you out. Are you kidding? I'm aging fast. It's worth every second of it. Not for me there's not [anything better in the world than being a father]. No, not for me. I would agree with that. . . . Of course, you know, I got to spend a few decades being idiotic and hell-bent and solipsistic, and everything else. So, you know, I got time to get all that out of my system. So . . . "
On Obama:"I think, overnight, we redefined what America's about. I couldn't be any happier and more hopeful for the - for America, for the upcoming - in the upcoming years. And that team he just announced, I'm so impressed with."

On selling photos of their kids for charity: "There's a bounty on our heads. And these pictures are going to come out at some point. And they're going to be chasing us, and they're going to - they're going to go to the ends of the earth to get these photos. And we just thought, well, maybe we could - since there's such a bounty, and that bounty is so obnoxious, we could take that money and funnel it to something good. And that's what we decided to do. It's still a bit uncomfortable to do such a thing, but I know it's right in the end and that's a decision we made."
On the events in Mumbai: "Well, funny enough, we were actually - we saw - we stayed in the Taj. And we saw - the room we stayed in was on fire"
On his movie: "You know, it certainly makes me conscious of how much time do I have left. Do I - you know, is this my day? Do I have 40 years left? What do I want to do in that time? How do I want to use it? And who do I want to spend it with? And I don't know. Me, man, it makes me - this film just makes me want to hug my kids and call my folks. And it's really special. And I'm not a salesman. I find this one quite authentic and something really special."

Flutterpie has been such a loyal fan to GiggleSugar. It was really great to get to know her through this interview, and I loved her "free for all"! Very thoughtful!

GS: What’s your motto?
FP: It's not really a motto as much as it is a poem. It's called "Everything I Needed to Know I Learned in Kindergarten." It talks about everything from sharing to looking both ways before you cross the street to how everyone should take a nap.

GS: Where are you from?
FP: I'm a California girl, except I'm not orange.

GS: What do you do?
FP: I am a field representative for Boost Mobile. I went to fashion school and somehow ended up in telecommunications, go figure.

GS: How would you describe your sense of humor?
FP: Sarcastic, a lot of people don't know whether to take me seriously or not. I tell them if you have to choose, go with not taking me seriously.

GS: What’s your favorite GiggleSugar post?
FP: I love the videos that have clips from tv. I don't get to watch it much so when you post something funny, you're saving me the time of finding the remote. I love the Family Guy clips and Fire Marshall Bill with Jim Carrey.

GS: Who’s the cutest funny man and funny woman?
FP: You know, I would say Dane Cook is cute but I don't really find him funny. Sarah Silverman is cute until she opens her mouth and starts spewing profanities. Isn't there some kind law of physics that says you can't be movie star cute and movie star funny because then the world is off balance?

GS: Who are your favorite male and female comedians?
FP: Jay Mohr is hilarious live, although I'm not sure he does stand up anymore. Janeane Garofalo is another one of my favorites, but I'm not sure she does stand up anymore either.

GS: What’s your favorite comedy of all time?
FP: Glitter with Mariah Carey, I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes.

GS: If your life were a comedy, what would it be?
FP: Mean Girls, I truly believe life is just a big high school that we are all trying to fit into.

GS: Do you look like someone famous?
FP: I had a guy call me Drew Barrymore for a whole semester in college. But I think he was just trying to get down my pants.

Flutterpie Free For All: I wasted a lot of time not having a voice. When I realized that it was okay to be smart and to be funny, it was like a whole new world opened up to me. When I started accepting myself for who I was, my whole life changed. When I stopped counting calories and obsessively working out, I suddenly was free to live my life and do the things that I enjoyed, which was not being at the gym but playing outside. It's okay to be the one who laughs the loudest or the one who knows the answer. It's okay to eat some cake because it tastes good. When I sat back and assessed all those things, I realized that life really is good.

JessNess is one of GiggleSugar's oldest readers. I don't mean age-wise-she's only 20!- but I mean loyalty-wise. She's been reading since the beginning, and it's about time we featured her as our reader of the week. Charming, smart, and funny. What more could you ask for? Enjoy!

GS: What’s your motto?
JN: I don’t really have a motto but I’m seriously considering adopting “The eyes are the groin of the face”. I think it’s a great metaphor on life. (Thanks, Dwight Schrute).

GS: Where are you from?
JN: I was born and raised in Southern California. I lived in Costa Mesa (in Orange County…yeah I know ) for a long time and moved to a small horse obsessed town in Riverside County in high school. I currently reside in Santa Barbara for school.

GS: What do you do?
JN: I’m a full time student at UCSB majoring in Archaeology and Art History. So my life consists of studying, studying, studying and crying about my lack of a social life

GS: How would you describe your sense of humor?
JN: Sarcastic, witty, dry, (by the way- is there such a thing as wet sense of humor?), potty humor (maybe that’s the wet humor), The Office and moments of pure stupidity.

GS: What’s your favorite GiggleSugar post?
JN: I'm pretty biased about a Comical Kid of the Week featuring my cousin. I’m also a sucker for anything with animals. I love the clip of Paula Abdul breaking down because she was rejected by the Bratz. She is all kinds of crazy.

GS: Who’s the cutest funny man and funny woman?
JN: Of course I have to say John Krasinski (get in line behind me ladies he’s mine ). I also think Bill Hader from SNL is hot-his Vincent Price impersonation is hilarious. Frankly there are not that many cute women in comedy, but Tina Fey is one of the few.

GS: Who are your favorite male and female comedians?
JN:I LOVE Simon Amstell who is a British comedian and host of Never Mind the Buzzcocks (awesome show). He is soooooooo funny plus he made Britney Spears cry during an interview once (her people made them get rid of that part of the interview...believe me I have searched for it). Kathy Griffin is funny and tells it like it is. I also love Amy Poehler. She was so funny in Mean Girls.

GS: What’s your favorite comedy of all time?
JN: Super Troopers!!!!!!!! I could watch that movie a million times. There are so many great one liners that I can’t even single one out right now. I adore Wet Hot American Summer, Princess Bride, Men in Tights and Dazed and Confused….did I ever mention that I am bad at picking favorites?

GS: If your life were a comedy, what would it be?
JN: My life is too boring right now to be a comedy I think it would be something along the lines of The Office-finding the funny in the mundane.

GS: Do you look like someone famous?
JN:I usually get told Alexis Bledel. It’s because we both have brown hair, blue eyes and pale skin. Once I was told I looked like one of the twins from America’s Next Top Model (cycle 7)…I don’t know if that is a good or bad thing.

JN free-for-all: My name is Jess and I’m 20 years old. I plan to be the next big thing in archaeology playing out my dream of being Indiana Jane….I even have an outfit all picked out. I love animals and I'm obsessed with my dogs Kassie and Jeffrey. I love to read (Harry Potter obsessed), watch way too much television, paint, take photos, and spend my days on the Sugar sites. My ultimate goal in life is to travel the world and own a villa in Italy and/or a manor/castle in England and to be happy.

I've been getting really giddy lately when I watch movies I've grown up with, and see the old technology that was hot at that time. I highlighted old Apple IIs and some goofy faux gadgets from Back to the Future 2, Doogie Howser's geeky 80's blogging, and some fabulous old ads. I am even pretty sure I saw my current crush Paul Rudd's Nintendo commercial when it originally aired!

Angelina Blushes at Beowulf & Talks Turkeys

Angelina took a break from working on The Changeling to stop by a press conference for Beowulf in Beverly Hills this weekend. The movie is CGI animated, but each character is created in an actor's likeness. Apparently Angelina got a little more than she had bargained for when she watched the film, especially in the scenes where her animated counterpart is naked. She said,

"There are certain moments where I felt actually shy – and called home, just to explain that the fun movie that I had done that was digital animation was, in fact, a little different than [what] we expected. I didn't expect ourselves to come out as much. I didn't expect it to feel as real, and so because of especially the type of character I play, it was kind of funny at first."

It's hard to imagine Angelina Jolie feeling shy, but we are betting that her animated self looks just as gorgeous as Angie the ultimate hottie looks in real life. Angie also stopped by GMA today with her co-star Anthony Hopkins to talk about making the movie and their upcoming Thanksgiving plans. To watch the clip, just read more

Gigglesugar Reader Spotlight: Grl In The World

GiggleSugar's Reader Spotlight shines this week on grl in the world. This down-to-earth vegetarian pet lover (and wrangler!) provides some pithy one-liner comments that are often as funny as the posts themselves (not that I'm saying I'm that funny or anything...) So let's hear from grl in the world herself! And be sure to check out the image gallery after the interview.

GS: What is your motto? GITW: “If not for love, then what are we here for?” It basically sums up what I think life is all about: Loving and caring for your friends, family, pets, and the global community.

GS: Where are you from? GITW: I currently live in a small town in Ontario, Canada. However, I grew up in rural Ontario (red-neck country!) and that is what led to my strong aversions to cowboy boots, country music, and mullets!

What do you do?: GITW: Currently I stay at home pet wrangling while my boyfriend goes out and brings home the (veggie) bacon! I do the housework and most of the cooking, and try to make sure my non-vegetarian boyfriend submits to the lure of tofu at least once a week. He LOVES that .

GS: How would you describe your sense of humor? GITW: My sense of humour is pretty sarcastic most of the time. I can also be a big goof, especially around my siblings and my boyfriend. I’ve been known to make a bad pun every once in a while, just to make my boyfriend groan.

GS: What's your favorite GiggleSugar post? GITW: I couldn’t just pick one favorite GiggleSugar post, there have been so many I’ve really got a laugh out of! (GS: That's what we like to hear!) So my top picks would be the Taking Your Whale Tail for a Walk post and SNL clip Drew Barrymore Knows How to Work It. I also like the Kid Performs his Heart Out…at Best Buy where the boy sings the Queen song on web cam. I also LOVE all of the Pet of the Week posts. Everyone here has such adorable pets, I can’t get enough of them!

GS: Who's the cutest funny man and woman? GITW: Jon Stewart (I find his intelligence and humour very sexy ), and Tina Fey from SNL.

GS: Who are your favorite comedians? GITW: Jerry Seinfeld (love his show and his stand-up routines) and Ellen DeGeneres. She has a quick wit and a sincerity I appreciate.

GS: What's your favorite comedy? GITW:My favourite comedy movie is Something About Mary. I’ve watched it over and over and I’ll never stop loving it. It’s a good mixture of funny, sweet and silly.

GS: If your life were a comedy, what would it be? GITW: I can’t think of a comedy that is like my life, maybe "The King of Queens" if you threw 7 pets into the mix!

GS: Do you ever get told you look like someone famous? GITW: I don’t think I resemble anyone famous, but I went online to a website a friend told me about (www.myheritage.com) and uploaded photos of my boyfriend and me. Apparently we have a 67% similarity to former "One Tree Hill" couple Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray. That was good for a laugh.

Free-for-all. About me: I’m a pet obsessed vegetarian. I love spending time with my friends and family. My favorite things to do are going to the beach and camping (both things I’m pining for while enduring another unending Canadian winter!) I love checking in on PopSugar, GiggleSugar, and the rest of the Sugar network during the day, and have met some really sweet people since I first joined a few months ago. Shout-out to MaryW, redsox26, and my sister moondancer77!

Vince On Oprah

Vince has already started to promote The Break Up. I feel like he is taking the early shift in promoting and Jen will start the circuit at the end of the month. In fact, The Break Up website has been updated with pictures, games, clips and more. No wonder they fell in love on the set, this movie looks like so much fun. I bet they had the best time working together.

In other news, Vince is on Oprah today. I don't get to watch it until 4pm here but apparently he jokes with Oprah about the $8 million wedding she is throwing for them. He said, "I'm expecting a pretty good band for $8 million!" He also told Oprah, "Jennifer's great. She's one of my favorite people. She's just really smart and funny and easy to be withâ€”very considerate. She's great."

He also told Oprah:

Does Vince want to have kids? "At some point I would," says Vince. "I've always liked kids a lotâ€”but no plans for the future. First we have to have the $8 million wedding!"

Has Vince discussed having kids with Jennifer? "No, I have not talked about having kids with Jennifer," he says. "I think [having children] takes a lot of focus, takes a lot of attention. I think it would be nice at some point to have a different priority in something else as you've sort of done stuff and challenged yourself, I think that time would come. But not any time in the near future for me, I don't think."
