Usually whenever I have a "Is this normal?" question, I turn to Google to get my answer quickly and painlessly (not to mention, privately!). But now with a website called Is It Normal?, you can read a plethora of burning questions that have been submitted. On the site you can browse the questions, leave comments, and once you're registered, you can dare to leave your own juicy "Is it normal?" question.

For only 99 cents, you can choose from a variety of sounds (including running water, hand-dryers, and blow dryers) which are launched when touching any of the makeup compact areas - and yes, the makeup brush controls the volume!

Paying homage to your retro-chic ma and pa, My Parents Were Awesome encourages readers to submit photos of their parents from way back when. According to the site:

Add this to your already-expanding list of free online photo- and video-editing websites, but one that provides endless entertainment in the process: Masher. Not only can you upload your videos and edit them for free, put together an impressive photo slideshow of your last shindig (and set it to music), but you can browse through free clips from sites like BBC Motion Gallery and Rip Curl to add some flavor to your flicks. Once you're finished, you can upload your masterpiece to the site for all to see.

With over three million entries, Wikipedia is the ultimate online encyclopedia. Most of you said that you regularly use it, but that you don't ever contribute or edit articles. But what happens to all of the entries that are considered for deletion by the Wikipedia gods? A website called WikiDumper pools together some of the Wiki articles that get flagged as inappropriate submissions or ones that have been nominated to be deleted. I'd have to say "The Purple Diet" entry that Mariah Carey supposedly followed - which involves eating only purple foods like plums and beetroot - is pretty hilarious.

Roommate frustrations? Lunch missing from your work fridge. . . again? Whether you've just been tempted to leave an angry, anonymous (or not-so-anonymous) note or you're actually guilty of leaving one, they can be pretty funny to those not involved in the squabble.

The website Passive-Aggressive Notes posts "painfully polite and hilariously hostile writings from shared spaces the world over" - aka the note that your co-worker posted on the office fridge for all to see. I've mentioned the site before, but check it out again for new features including "'Word of the Day," calling out a hilarious user comment, or the "Greatest Hits" and "Kerry's Favorites" with links to the site's most popular and founder's favorite content.

It's perfect for scrolling through if you need a laugh. Or, for the ultimate passive-aggressive payback, submit a note of your own to be included on the site.

Library Book Returned With Bacon as a Bookmark

Over the past year, bacon has turned multifunctional as the trendiest ingredient around. We've seen it in vodka, as a flavoring for mayonnaise, and even as a savory take on dental floss. But bacon, as it turns out, is even more useful than one could've ever imagined. It also happens to makes for a very handy bookmark.

Dan Thompson, a librarian and collector from the UK's seaside town of Worthing, discovered a thin slice of bacon that was being used to bookmark a page in a returned book. Apparently, such an occurrence isn't as uncommon as it sounds; The Argus, which first reported the story, references a similar website that lists locales where other people have found rashers, or slices of bacon, in books.

I would jump on the bandwagon, if it weren't for the fact that I'm partial to my favorite bookmark, an asparagus spear. Have you ever heard of this phenomenon?

Since Apple does reject the odd app here and there, you can be sure that every app goes through a rigorous approval process before making its way to the iTunes store. "No Signal" Cell Phone Reception Clips From Horror Flicks

Whenever I think of scary movies and phones, Scream instantly comes to mind - especially the gory Drew Barrymore kitchen scene - yikes! Back in the eighties and nineties, most horror movies had serial killers cutting phone lines so when the victim (usually helpless young women) went to call the police, the phone would be dead. Nowadays, screenwriters can't write this classic scenario into scripts because a majority of people have swapped their landlines for a cell phone. So what's a screenwriter to do? They are to play up the lack of cell phone service conundrum. Rich Four Four has put together this amazing compilation of 66 movies from 2000 that have done just that.
