Madonna, Mischa and Rachel Back Black Lace At NYFW!

It was another busy day at New York Fashion Week yesterday as celebs made the rounds of runway shows and parties introducing the trends for Spring 2010. Madonna attended Marc Jacobs' show, as did Lady GaGa, who showed up halfway through the event! Mischa Barton plays a model in the upcoming TV show The Beautiful Life and was getting some tips on pouting and posing as she attended more events after her busy weekend at the shows. Her old The OC costar Rachel Bilson was also wearing black lace, attending the Jill Stuart show alongside Nicky Hilton, Amanda Bynes and Leigh Lezark, to name a few. Also spotted around Bryant Park were Katy Perry, Janet Jackson, Emmy Rossum, and Avril Lavigne who showed off her own range of clothing!

Lauren, Kim, and Rachel Kick Off Monday With Fashion Week!

New York Fashion Week was at it again bright and early this morning with another set of celebrity-studded shows. The fashion-loving stars were fresh off a weekend full of shows, with some even waking up after a night at the VMAs. Kim Kardashian was front and center at Tracy Reese as well as Jill Stuart where she joined Rachel Bilson, Amanda Bynes, and Nicky Hilton. Lauren Conrad skipped Whitney Port's collection last week, but was out for Rebecca Minkoff this morning wearing polka dots. Anna Wintour and Rachel Zoe have both been out since the beginning of Fashion Week and attended both Carolina Herrera and Donna Karan's shows today. Fashion Week is rolling on and the stars are showing no signs of fatigue as they kick off another in a string of long days in Bryant Park.

TV Casting: Gabrielle Union and Alfre Woodard Book Roles

Here's the latest on two cool women coming soon to a small screen near you:

Gabrielle Union is joining the cast of Flash Forward, playing a criminal defense attorney named Zoey. Zoey will be a recurring character, and she'll also have a romantic arc on the show, though there's no word on which other cast member that will involve. (But wouldn't she be cute with Joseph Fiennes? Just sayin'.) Producer David S. Goyer said he knew the moment he met her that she was their Zoey: "She's witty, soulful and beautiful." Aw!
Alfre Woodard is joining the cast of Three Rivers on CBS. In the medical drama - which stars Alex O'Loughlin of Moonlight fame - she'll play Sophia Jordan, the head of surgery at Three Rivers Hospital, a renowned center for organ transplants. She replaces Julia Ormond, who played the role in the pilot. While Sophia wasn't a particularly major character in the pilot, I could imagine her being a bigger factor as the series goes forward.

Hills Girls and Kardashians Celebrate on Maxim's Hot 100

The sexy dresses came out in LA for last night's party celebrating Maxim's 10th Anniversary Hot 100 list. Heidi Montag had been twittering all day about how happy she is to have made the list, so of course she and Spencer happily posed on the red carpet. The 100's number-one lady, Olivia Wilde, couldn't make the soiree, but a few other of the listworthy ladies kept the party going. LC, who was the star of the party last year, didn't make it in 2009, but Audrina came in at number 57. Kim was the only Kardashian who made it on the list, but her sisters Khloe and Kourtney still strutted their stuff. There's always next year, right?

Could Roseanne Return to TV? Plus, More Casting News

The matriarch of '90s television comedy wants to make another run at TV: Roseanne Barr is developing a sitcom concept about a family in which, yes, she'd play the mom.

Barr's idea isn't tied to any network right now, though it has been pitched to Fox. She's developing the project with a former Roseanne producer, and the two of them have teamed with an Arrested Development writer to put the script together.

Could you imagine Barr back in prime time? Does Roseanne: The Next Generation have hope?

Meanwhile, a couple of other quick casting tidbits:

Elle Macpherson has signed up for a role on the CW's The Beautiful Life pilot, which also stars Mischa Barton.
Amanda Bynes will play one of the leads in Canned, an ABC comedy pilot about friends who are all fired on the same day.
Brian Austin Green and Gabrielle Union are the latest additions to the CW's Body Politic, joining Minka Kelly and Jason Dohring.
Julia Ormond has joined the cast of Three Rivers, the CBS drama pilot also starring Alex O'Loughlin.

Talking Tech With Gabrielle Union at Verizon's BB Storm Party

Last night, we ventured out to a Verizon Wireless party here in SF, where all eyes were on the BlackBerry Storm touch phone. With a DJ mixing some stellar tunes, signature BlackBerry cocktails like the Ultimat Storm and the Ultimat BlackBerry, and Storm business and pleasure zones for testing out software and features, the party was rockin'. They also had a green screen room where you could throw on some fun props like rain jackets, or fancy fur coats to get your picture taken in a snow, desert, or rain storm - check out some of the pics in the gallery below!

We even caught up with the host of the party, actress Gabrielle Union, who calls the Storm "idiot proof" and says that she doesn't Twitter because she "talks too much crap." To see what else she had to say, check out the video below!

Will Has Costars and Fresh Friends to Premiere Seven Pounds

Will Smith usually has his real life family by his side on the red carpet, but last night at the Seven Pounds premiere in LA he was joined by his former on screen relatives. Alfonso Ribeiro and Tatyana Ali who co-starred with Will on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, smiled big out to support the big star. Will wasn't the only of the movie's stars out to celebrate - Rosario Dawson looked sexy in her hot little dress, but unfortunately Tom Cruise didn't bring his son Connor out for his first big acting premiere. The movie hits theaters this Friday and while the trailer is still a bit cryptic it looks like one of our favorite male stars of the year, Will, gives another memorable performance.
