Nov 23 2009 - 2:30pm Amanda Seyfried's latest film
Letters to Juliet looks like a mash up of her other work. First off, her character's name is Sophie, which brings
Mamma Mia to mind, as does the romantic foreign locale. But even the title itself made me do a double-take — wait, isn't she already doing a book-turned-film about letters called
Dear John?!

Gael Garcia Bernal, Vanessa Redgrave lovely at 72, and Italy - who cares what else is in it?
1how could one possibly pick that guy over Gael?! Unfathomable because Gael Garcia Bernal is so perfect.
2Awww I will watch this, I love Amanda Seyfried and sappy romcoms.
3i actually JUST saw this trailer when i went to see new moon and it seems like the type of movie that amanda would do. i'm not sure if i'll be that compelled to see it in the theater - it seems more like a netflix type movie - but it looks like one of those happy romance movies that we women love so much.
4definitely netflix for me
5I saw a preview for this before new moon. It looks horrendously bad and the English male lead is not so cute
6I saw this trailer before New Moon and it looks pretty boring. DVD for sure.
7aww i kinda want to see this one. it looks cute.
i also read that whoever vanessa redgrave's love interest is in the movie is actually her husband/partner in real life! that makes this even more appealing.
8I think this looks like a cute movie, i will probably see it. Love Taylor's song even if it is kinda cheesy for this movie
9I got bored just watching that, so I don't think I'll be seeing it. I agree that Gael Garcia Bernal is way more attractive than that Egan guy.
Do people really leave letters for Juliet? They know she's fictional, right? And anyway, why would she be the person to ask?
10aww, this looks like a cute roomance movie that I will likely watch. I love the part in the trailer where Vanessa Redgrave finds Lorenzo.
