Got any cool retro-style gadgets like this cell phone handset to share? I'm trying to compile a list of all the gadgets out there that appear to be vintage, but boast the same features as any other modern day gadget. I guess you could call them gadgets in retro disguise?!

There are some gadgets and devices we need and some we just want. Sure luxury gadgets like the $800 Titanium Nano case or the million dollar laptop are lust worthy, but most of your gadget budget probably goes toward more sensible purchases like computers, cameras and cell phones. My question for you is this: If money was no object, what lavish gadget, appliance or toy would you rush out and buy?

One of the benefits of of digital technology is that every email, text, and voicemail is easily saved, stored, and relived. It's helpful when you're dating someone — I think it's both fun and cute to reread old messages. (Though I suppose this can get dicey when trying to cut your ex out of your digital life, but that's a topic for another day).

I finally invested in the Clarisonic device that Bella has been raving about and rushed home to try it, only to find the instructions suggest charging the device for 24 hours before its first use. It was the ultimate luxury gadget letdown — all I wanted to do was test it, and I had to wait patiently.
Most battery experts claim you can prolong battery life by charging them fully before their inaugural use.
