If you're looking for new games to play inside with cats in Winter, look no further than the new mod stripe kitty krackers from SF's George pet supply shop. Now coming in both kitten (6.5-inch) and tomcat (12.5-inch) sizes, these toys are stuffed into fresh catnip sausages. I picture both to offer plenty of hiding and seeking (read: attacking) options for those super active cats looking for a savory snack to sniff this season.

Times are tough but shopping waits for no one! Since I can't help but splurge on my furry friend (even if that means scrimping on myself), I've located big time sales at a couple of North's favorite shops. Check out my top five deals to be had below.

Anne Hathaway looked simply stunning at the London Film Festival last night wearing a midnight blue frock to the premiere of Rachel Getting Married. Her makeup looked typically glamorous with an emphasis on her bold brows and a perfect pout.
Anne kept her hair looking glossy yet slightly tousled to give a more relaxed feel.

If the weather outside is frightful in your neck of the woods, consider ordering a fantastic new jacket or sweater for your pooch! California-based boutique George has super-cute pet gear with its signature yellow stick insignia. Even though the store has three locations (San Francisco, Berkeley, and Santa Monica), the real deal here now is its online 20 percent off sale on all pet apparel.

I went into The Men Who Stare at Goats with high expectations. How could a film possibly disappoint when you have the acting trifecta of George Clooney, Ewan McGregor, and Jeff Bridges? But unfortunately, while the pros work hard to generate laughs — and they do deliver at times — the film on the whole is all over the place.

What do George Lucas and the new Droid have in common? More than you'd think! I'm stoked to get my hands on the new device being offered up by Motorola to see if it really can top my iPhone, but when I got an invite to the San Francisco launch party I noticed something interesting at the bottom: the word "droid" is licensed to Lucasfilm LTD, which means Motorola pays a fee to the Star Wars icon to use his trademarked term.

And then there were three. Back in May I asked you all who you would choose to play Frank Sinatra in the upcoming biopic, and Martin Scorsese reportedly has narrowed it down to Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, and George Clooney. Apparently Scorsese's first choice is his muse DiCaprio, while Universal Pictures would like to see Depp in the role.

Several actors walked the red carpet this weekend at the London Film Festival and Rome Film Festival. Nicholas Hoult, Tom Ford, Colin Firth and Matthew Goode looked handsome in their suits at the premiere for A Single Man in London, and the capital also saw the premiere of Viggo Mortensen's The Road. Helen Mirren was in Rome for the The Last Station, and Terry Gilliam and Lily Cole were also in Italy for The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus premiere.
